I wish there were 6 stars for value

What an amazing place. The food in easily the best Cuban I've had in New York. I'm a lifelong NYer, but lived in MIA for 3 years and felt like I was right back there. The churrasco, cubanitos, ropa vieja, avocado salad, yuca fries(and everything I've tried) are amazing. The hostess is a very nice woman and the mood an ambiance is super cool. Highly recommended for dates.

    Best meal in awhile!

Last night went here with a girlfriend randomly after experiencing bad service and walking out of another place. What a treat! We stopped in because it looked adorable and would up having an amazingly delicious meal paired with a pitcher of champagne sangria. Skirt steak with Chimmichurri Salsa, Poquillos and the shrimp appetizer were all to die for. Great date spot. Great hang out with friends spot. It's not a huge space but big on quality/service.

    Good food, rude hostess

After being away from NYC for a while, I came back to this place that I remember as having some tasty fried plantains and good ropa vieja. The food again was quite good, but the woman who appears to be the owner is so rude, constantly flustered. The other servers were fine. Won't go back because of her. My friends were offended by her attitude.

    First time visit

Had dinner with a friend about a month ago and the food was good. Drinks a little weak, but service was very nice.

Cozy comfortable cuba home welcoming atmosphere

I can not get enough of cortadito. This is a perfect place for a date night in nyc, family dinner, gathering with co worker and especially if your looking for a welcoming staff. Owners are pleasent and add a remarkable touch to the decor and environment. there is something for EVERYONE on the menu. Whether vacationing or in need of good latin/spanish tasting.

    Delicious!!

The food is superb and service is great (when it isn't packed). One thing though: everything we ordered looked brown! *LOL*

    it could be better

Food was alright but not great. Service very poor and over priced, there are several latin / cuban restaurant that have better service and food for the same price. I wouldn't recommend it.
