Great food, small portions.
Although Cafe Condesa was adorable, and the food was very tasty, I must say that I left feeling a little less than satisfied. The wine was phenomenal, as was the sweet potato ravioli appetizer. However, our main dishes were pretty standard, nothing incredibly special, and they were basically appetizer portions. Basically, come here if you want a cute west village restaurant and are not that hungry.

A gem
I absolutely love this place. I stumbled upon it a while ago and have been deliberately walking in ever since. The food is fresh, simple and deliciously consistent. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The cozy, casual atmosphere and competitively priced fare make it a favorite with West Village locals.

Excellent!
I almost hate to write this review becuase I don't want to share this place! I have been twice now, and I can't get enough. The food is fresh and delicious. The flavors are well combined, and the prep is simple yet perfect. I don't eat brussel sprouts, and I've NEVER been a fan of cauliflower, but I ate as much as I could get my hands on of BOTH at Condesa. Even if you're not totally convinced, it's ok because substitutions and changes are all graciously accomodated. The waitress handles the whole room and she is attentive to everyone, filling water glasses and removing plates with speed. I highly recommend this place.

Great restaurant
This restaurant was adorable, cozy, great service and the food was delicious (and I'm a picky eater). We'll definitely go back.

Great food
The food is VERY fresh always, and it's always server very hot. The roasted potatoes served with the eggs are great. The eggs seem to taste better at this place. Most importantly- they have the best French Toast that I've ever tasted. The dinners are very good as well, and are priced very reasonably. It's one of the least expensive dinners you'll have in Manhattan, and it's very good. Friendly owners, and highly recommended.

What a great find!
Super intimate with great wines and food. One of my new fav date places in the city. It's small but that is what makes it so great I think. Great vibes!

A home away from the office
I have become a regular at Cafe Condesa (and by regular, I literally mean 100+ visits). The menu has evolved over time as have the portions. I have no idea how Emir and Enrique can afford to serve such amazing food at such low prices (e.g., 8 oz ribeye served over arugula with roasted onion and guacamole - $13... anyone can easily afford a glass of wine from their list of unique reds at that price). It's quite a find for a village hideaway. I hesitate to even write a post for that reason!
