Loved it.
After reading some of the previous reviews I was reluctant to try it. I had a wonderful experience, the food was delicious, the atmosphere heavenly and the service was great. Everything was thoroughly enjoyable, give it a try.

I used to love Colette. It was consistently good and service was always nice but I was seriously disappointed this time. After waiting 15mins for our server to acknowledge us we ordered 2 simple egg breakfast meals. It was a disaster, my poached eggs had boiled water floating on the plate and zero taste. The potatoes tastes like oil and the bread was too hard to eat -not worth $13. We tried to make the best of it but it was disaster. We ended eating food elsewhere!

Huge disappointment
We waited 30 minutes to order and an hour to get the food. The food wasn't unappetizing, but or the money... Wow what a joke. Hipster waitstaff doesn't care about the customers. The tables are too close together as well. Please don't waste your time or money at this place.

Nothing French about it, not special
Had great hopes for something that is occupying the former space of one great and one very good restaurant, but this is disappointing and nothing special, basically just a glorified diner with unhelpful staff. So go for the burger and fries, expect attitude, and you will be fine.

Just OK
The decor and ambiance is fun and cool but the food is pretty mediocre. The menu is a bit all over the place for dinner but brunch is better. I had a chance to try a few things: cheeseburger (not impressive, shredded lettuce is nasty to me and the meat sorta bland) fish tacos (a step up from the cheesburger, has more flavor) their lobster was good but I haven't seen it on the menu in a while. Overall, the food could use more flavor and be better quality. I kept going there hoping it'll get better but I think I'll just go for their good cocktails for now on. Or maybe I just ordered the wrong thins.

Okay
Food was okay, but price was a little steep for what they are offering.

Seriously good breakfast!
Finally a place that knows how to make homefries. Not to mention the adorable old diner atmosphere. The service is friendly and not pushy...even on busy days. The coffee was great. The menu was not too big, but there was a nice selection. Gets crowded on the weekends, but that's a sign of how good it is. Weekday breakfast is nice and quiet, but you're never the only one. Super, duper place!
