    Sunday Brunch

Hit at the right time, seated immediately. Friendly service. All four pleased w our selections - smoked salmon plate, roasted eggplant sandwich and couple of goat cheese-watercress salads. Delish. Quaint, cozy atmosphere. Will go again.

    Great early bird dinner deal

I went there for dinner around 6 pm and they have a great early bird deal (3 courses) from 5:30-6:30. Had soup, pasta course and dessert.

    Definitely no bang for buck

While the atmosphere was nice, the food was definitely not worth the price tag. $16 for a sandwich is fine if the sandwich is amazing. This was no better than any much cheaper one at any other place. Bland and uninspired. I would try it again to give it another chance, but unless the prices go down seems like it won't ever be worth it.

my lunchtime regular, despite the micros

am here regularly, at least once a (mid) week, the place is great, very nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Like others here, my only grumble is the portions which can be ludicrously small at times. the sandwiches with french fries are better for the hungry, but order a special, like the pasta or duck salad, then make sure you fill up on bread, as there's barely an appetizer worth there. I'm a small eater too, so my minor grumblings could be major if you have a hearty appetite...

    Great Overall - TINY portion

Went for lunch - good service, beautful surroundings and clean and new. only problem was duck salad was microscopic. I left starving - can't they add more lettuce to the plate? The presentation of the "salad" was about 2 inches by two inches. Otherwise, I would have enjoyed everything but this sort of put a damper on things. Guys - just add a whole lot more lettuce and nobody will know. What were you thinking?

    Overpriced

The food here was quite nice, if the portions a little small. But the prices are extortionate for what they offer. The place is quaint, but simply not worth the money.

    Ok Brunch

I went in with high expectations and they weren't quite met, but I also wasn't totally disappointed. A group of four of us got there around 1 pm on a sunday for brunch. It was about a 20 minuted wait - not too terrible, but I definately wouldn't wait longer then that. Two of us had the omlet (goat cheese and herbs). It was exactly what is to be expected - a three egg omelt with a side of fries. The fries were a little soggy which was disappointing because otherwise they were terrific. I had coffe, which was a pretty decent cup o' joe. My fiance had short rib hash. It looked good although I didn't try it, I will say though, he would have complained to us if it weren't good. Some reviewers have said the portions are small. I really don't agree. Yes, they are small compared to a diner or some chain restaurant, but in reality, I think the portions were fair and what they should be. My only real complaint is that our waitress was your typical west village don't bother me why are you here type server. Rude, short, and didn't even come close to a smile until she dropped our check and probablly only did so to "earn" a tip.
