Great, tasty italian
Only every ordered delivery from here so please disregard atmosphere and service (although always quick). Pastas are fantastic and great value, fresh ingredients. I also had the pleasure of trying the pizza which was ace. Its on my list of east village regulars.

waiter confronted us for leaving less than 20% tip
After mediocre service (people who came 10 min after us ordered and got their food before us), the waiter came and aggressively confronted us for leaving him a less than 20% tip. While the place had a decent brunch and a pleasant outside seating, it is disconcerting when the service commands to always get a tip which is only for exceptional service. This type of attitude would hurt only the owners of this place since there are hundreds of comparable restaurants in this area.

Cafe Fantastico!
Lovely neighborhood spot ... great food and good service! The owner is amazingly respectful and caring and a lovely hostess - keeps me and my friends and family coming back for more. Chicken and Shrimp Parmigiana are delish - pizzas are thin crust and very tasty. Go - you won't be disappointed.

So Underrated
Started going here fairly recently and all I can say is I wish I started going alot sooner. Excellent italian food at reasonable prices. Sit inside in a nice atmosphere or enjoy sitting outside looking out onto St Marks Church across the street. The fried calamari is sensational as is the caeser salad with grilled shrimp. The chicken parm is easily enough for two people. Also had the thin crust pizza which was real good too. My favorite pasta is the Dello Chef, a sausage and onion in a light cream sauce. Again, plenty enough to have to take home what you cant finish. I like to go here for lunch and sit outdoors and just have a great meal. A great neigborhood place and its only 4 blocks away.

always good
longtime neighborhood staple (moved over from 3rd av a while back). the BEST fried calamari i've had anyhwere, light breading, delicious garlic & peperoncini sauce. excellent coal (or brick? i forget) pizzas and good solid italian dishes. full bar, wines, nice-sized portions. the deserts look good in the case, but we are always too full to even try them. outdoor seating in nice weather. always a great meal at centnosette.

Best Chicken Parm in the city
I ate there a few nights ago and the chicken parm is out of this world. The breading on the chicken is not the generic kind you get at every other italian place in the city. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great spot!
My friend and I went there for lunch today and were thrilled that they offered breakfast items all day long. Her mixed berry pancakes were so yummythey tasted like cake! My eggs florentine was absolutely perfect. I didn't want it to end! The accompanying potatoes were very tasty, and the salad was pretty good. The place is very cute and the service was good, though our food took a little long to come out for a NY lunch, but definitely not long when compared to the rest of the country. I'll definitely return!
