Poorly managed
Service was poor. The place was empty (4 patrons at 12:30 PM when we arrived) and the young lady insisted we sit at a table for two, rather than at a larger table. We had to ask for salt and pepper. And then ask for freshly ground pepper. At these prices and in this type of restaurant shouldn't freshly ground pepper be the default? We had to ask for water. When we declined dessert, we got our check immediately. We hadn't asked for our check, and the place was still empty, so they didn't need our table. All in all, while the food was ok, the service was so disappointing that I'm unlikely to return.

Delicious
One of the tastiest meals in the neighborhood, aside from it even being vegan. Great sandwiches.

Definitely going back for more!
I don't know what the last reviewer is talking about. This restaurant was a delight in every way, from the delicious food to the soothing decor to the charm and friendliness of the staff. The value was right in line with the comparable restaurants in the neighborhood -- even a little better. My huband had the cheeseburger and I had the schnitzel and we left feeling more than satisfied. We're both new to veganism and this was the best experience we've had eating out so far. Neither of us missed the meat or dairy one bit. In fact, had I not known better, I would have thought we were eating meat, both by look at taste. Dessert was a cashew ice cream that could have fooled me into thinking it was Ben & Jerry's. Only the chai latte we ordered came on the lukewarm side. All in all, I'm so glad I found Blossom and I plan to become a regular. Just wish they delivered above 96th Street.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed at blossom, felt it was far too aloof and above its station. Food was perhaps above average; atmosphere was bland and dour. We had to negotiate an obstacle course of (badly) stacked tables and chairs in the front of the restaurant, which looked like they belonged outside to get through (so first impressions were bad from the get go). Restrooms squalid. Certainly more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Great food at great prices!
I had a good vibe about this restaurant so I decided to order. The portobello sandwich could not have been any better. There veggie drinks are amazing and I can't wait to try some of their other items.

Delicious but a bit slow and pricey
The Tofu BLT and sweet potato fries are excellent, as are the beverages. And it's wonderful to have another quality vegan restaurant on the UWS. Due to the price, though, Blossom is a bit of a luxury for me. If you can afford it, enjoy!

Great dining experience!
The food is great and the service is better than almost anywhere else in New York. Your water glass is always full and the waiters are always happy to accommodate allergies and dietary needs. Try the seitan entrees and the Southern Seitan sandwich.
