Great Lunch
I work around the corner and frequently stop here at lunch time. This is definitely my favorite place in the neighborhood. Their soups and salads are amazing. The portions are fairly large and enough to share. This is also a great place to stop on the way home for a little dessert. There are so many different things to choose from.. delicious cupcakes that are filled in the middle and fantastic homemade cookies are my personal faves.

Good Food/Poor Service
The quality of the food is very good though it's a bit pricey. My complaint is with the service. The staff, at best, are unfriendly and unhelpful and occassionally are downright rude! I do keep coming back because the food is good and it's around the corner from where I work.

Try the salads!
The BBQ salad with balsamic dressing is amazing!

Terrific pastries, so-so service.
They have my most favorites treat: the almond brioche. I always get this on Friday's as a sweet ending to my work week. Their coffee is delicious and always perfectly brewed. If not for some poor service, Angelique would be my favorite coffee shop.

honestly
The coffee is good. That is why you should go there. But that alone. The food is the same food you can get anywhere, the pastries are as artificial as they get, the price is not competitive and the service is less than polite. I am just being honest, and honestly I do go back, despite saying I wont, because...the coffee is good.

great muffins!
Although a bit overpriced, I find the food worth the cost. The soups are delicious, as are the varieties of desserts and bourka! I personally love the fat-free cranberry orange muffin and great workers. Usually very busy for sit down, but grabbing it on the go works real well.

My favorite cafe
I find myself craving this place when I haven't eaten there in a while (like one whole week without cafe angelique) and I have to go in to get the mushroom soup, on the days that it is the soup of the day. I've never had better! Don't confuse it with the Mushroom/corn soup, because that is so divine. The sandwiches and desserts are great also. I would recommend this cafe to everyone, and I do.
