Absolutely the worst service in the city (Sunday 11/13/11 around 6 p.m.); our waitress ruined our experience. She could not have cared less about her job or how it reflects on the cafe. We'd wanted to try this cute little place for so long so we were disappointed and will not return. Too many other choices nearby!

I really wanted to like this place - cute neighborhood cafe near work. Food was tasty with decent portions but my coworker and I found the staff to be rude and snotty as well - particularly the staff at the cashier. Made us feel very uncomfortable. We will not be returning. Thankfully there are a number of other cafe options nearby.

Really enjoyed my breakfast there several weeks ago, but my coworker and I will not be back. The guy at the cashier was snotty as heck after ignoring us. Good thing my coworker called him out on it. Although it would have been nice to put this place on our list of dining options, there are plenty of other wonderful places to eat in the neighborhood with more sincere workers.

I love this place, it is very chill and I think the wait staff is friendly. I like the salmon bagel stick and the hot cocoa. Someone else wrote the hot cocoa is to die for and they are absolutely right. It is the best place to just get a little snack and watch people.

This is a great 'let's meet for coffee' date spot. It is not usually too crowded. The hot cocoa is amazing. The staff is a bit snotty... but overall I can't complain. It's not the best place for a meal (mediocre food) but coffee, cocoa and tea are decent.

My fiance and I went shopping in Greenwich Village while on vacation from California and we came across this charming cafe, we ordered an apricot walnut scone, salmon bagel sticks and two cappucinos, this was so yummy, the coffee was delicious. It's fun looking out the front window to people watch as well, I would recommend this cafe, and I'm looking forward to it on our next trip to New York.

I have been all over New York City searching for the perfect macchiato since I got here 2 years ago... the Upper East and West Sides, Morningside, East/West Villages, Park Slope, Heights, etc. This place is the best: perfect espresso, not too much milk, served in a concave cup that keeps it warm for at least 15 minutes. The desserts are to die for, the atmosphere cannot be improved upon, and the service is decent for a European style cafe (if you have every been to Europe you will know what to expect). I have not ordered an actual meal here yet but if you are looking for pastries and coffee I definitely recommend it.
