satisfied customer
Good food, fair prices, clean environment. Service was average... based on my limited experience, I suspect they could use an extra waiter/ waitress during dinner service. Despite this, I've never had any mistakes, the food was arrived nice and hot, and the staff have always been courteous and professional. About the only complaint I have is that some customers don't know their limits and then get drunk/ disruptive to other customers.

Great!
it was closed for a week during the holy week, so i was frustrated a lil bit though. But it was re-openned after so i came back and noticed that there were new staff, i was like, what happened to the old ones?? anyway, everything's great though, they have good customer service and the food is still great. i'll always love cafe 81!

Filipino food in the village
Food is okay. The owner is nice. Not as good as the Filo restaurants in Queens but the prices are good. They usually dont have everything on their menu which has been a disappointment. First 3x i went they had no Halo-Halo. The last time i was there they had no Bulalo. And they only deliver 5 blocks away!?! C'mon step your game up!

service please
The food is ok nothing to rave about but prices are reasonable not like the sky high prices of the one in 21 st. But my god the service is so poor you would constantly look for your waiter. Guys hire more wait staff please.

Atmostphere Was Awesome
I took a date there this weekend. We were planning going to the bar next door and we came across Cafe 81. Such a nice place. The staff is friendly. There is outside seeting. The Music was cool. But most importantly, it was just a relaxed enviornment. Perfect to break the ice of first date. I would recommend this place for small group of friends who want a nice place with outside seating. I would definitely recommend this place for a date of anykind. I will be coming back.

Very good meal..
Great food with a nice out door space. The dessert is unbelievable. Definitely a hidden gem in the city.
