Ordered for the first time this week. Delivery was very quick...then things went downhill. The omelet "platters" came on a very small styrofoam plate covered in foil (as if you brought it from home), a size that would be enough for a child. Only thing the platter came with was toast, but no butter for you to eat it with. Way overpriced for something so miniscule. There are far better options for breakfast in the area - maybe this place is better for lunch but I won't be attempting that.

This place is convenient, the guys behind the counter are nice--but every time I go I am highly annoyed. I vow to myself every time not to go back here and then I always do. They don't write down your order and more times than not mess up something. They can't seem to ever produce an egg and cheese sandwich that follows standard breakfast sandwich procedure (melted cheese, grilled roll, etc). They cut corners and do things like put chopped onions from the salad bar on your sandwich instead of sliced onions. It is almost like they have never been to a comparable place and have no idea how to make really simple items. And, to make it worse--they are really overpriced and if you order off the menu, be prepared for some very creative pricing. I really want to like this place. It would make life so easy. But they can't seem to do the simplest things without messing them up.

I've gone here numerous times and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always fresh, always fast, and the staff is always extremely friendly. Their breakfast sandwiches are all under $3 and are huge enough to keep you full for a very long time, and their veggie burgers are all hand-made, baked, and very light! It's a great place to go when you're not sure what you want but you're too hungry to risk being disappointed.

I actually never write menupages.com reviews because I am never that impressed/ angered by service in a restaurant. But, I actually wrote my fist and only menupages.com review below because I really like the food at Cafe 27e. But after today, I won't be ordering from here again. In the past, this place has had decent delivery time, not great. At the most, they'll take 45- 50 minutes. Today, I called at 12:45 to place an order, was told it was on its way. After an hour and fifteen minutes, I was starving and called to see where my food was. The guy who answered told me it would be here in 5 minutes. Nope! I called again after 10 minutes, and he said "It will be there in 2 minutes, if not you can have it for free". After another 10 minutes of waiting, I left my office and told the receptionist that if someone showed up, to tell them I didn't want the food. I was starving at this point and needed to meet someone outside. Well, the past part of the story is that, when I got back to the office, the receptionist informed me that the delivery guy never came. I got no phone call, no explanation. Just a big waste of my time. So be warned!

I always order the veggie stuff because I don't eat meat. The veggie burgers are homemade, not fried, light, and delicious! I order from here all the time for lunch and am never disapointed. The delivery service is usually very quick and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommend this place!

We loved this little cafe. Just finished a shopping spree in Chinatown and this hit the spot. We had their sandwiches and a great salad. All were fresh and reasonable. The veggie burger was also good. The service was prompt and great attitudes. I recommend this place for a quick and tasty lunch.
