Disappointed
I came here based on the reviews. The cafe is small, cramp, very basic. The tables have cheap vinyl tablecloths that look clean but leave a greasy feeling to the touch. The food is subpar and the portions small (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Service was just OK. If you are planning to go out of your way to visit this place like I did then don't bother. Still looking for a good breakfast haunt (other than iHop) north of 130th ST.

Yummy!
I went to this cozy place for breakfast today and fell in love! The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the shrimp and cheese omlette. My friend had the Salmon Cakes. We shared a stack of buttermilk pancakes. Everything was delicious and it was all served up with warm hospitality Next time I'll try the sauteed spinach grits. Can't wait! This spot comes Highly recommended!

You don't know . . .
You don't know chicken and french toast until you have tried this place! I live in Central Harlem and finding a place that deliveries to me AND is good is VERY difficult! I got the french toast with fried chicken and grits. I am the type that eats the waffles and chicken together so I figured why not french toast. Nonetheless, the chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and fresh! The french toast was perfectly thick, with the butter already melted (I like that!), and the grits were already buttered (I like sugar with it too). All and all if you're watching the waist line this isn't the place but if you're like me (have a cold, and have a craving, and love mixing waffle with the chicken) this is totally it. I rate this place two hard nipples with no help from a cold breeze.

Best breakfast in Harlem
This tiny, lovely restaurant serves the BEST breakfast in Harlem. The grits, salmon cakes, corn beef hash are especially great. To top it all off, you can't beat the prices. $4.50!!! The mac & cheese is also in my top 5 for new york. The space is small but cozy. The service isn't the fastest on the planet, but it's cheerful.
