The food here is such a great value, I recently got a yearly membership to MoMA just so I can eat lunch here once a week without paying the ridiculous entry fee to the museum as I work across the street. Though the restaurant is cafeteria style ordering queue, the experience is all table service once you get your number. Everytime I go, the Rosemary Chicken Breast Salad is all I need to say. This is one of the finest salads you will find in NYC. Almost as good as the one I love at Metrazur in Grand Central Mezzanine. If that doesn't stuff me (it usually does), I'll cap it off with the pecan tart with vanilla ice cream. Excellent value!! Can't say enough about this unknown cafeteria. Go around 11am, otherwise you'll be crowded amongst the hundreds of European tourists who hit the cafe around noon.
