A Good Old American Pie
I've lived on the UWS all my life and I've always gotten this pizza. It's really good, and while I like the whole 'Mozzarella and Basil' jazz I can only take that kind of pizza for a night or so. And if you go to college like me and you don't have the time to cook every night, this place is great. I can eat it for luch AND dinner and I won't get sick of it. And while that may not be the healthiest choice, well... If you're looking for healthy, why would you be eating pizza?! It also has some lovely garlic nots!! I've never really noticed anything bad about he service, but on Friday nights, if you're ordering in, the delivery takes FOREVER.

Poor service
I just called to place a large order for a party and the person I spoke to was extremely rude. Instead of politely telling me they didn't deliver to our area, he was yelling at me "we don't go there!" I don't know what was his problem, but I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Kind of obnoxious
Good pie. Pizza by the slice. But the workers are almost rude. I won't go there again.

A great slice
I just want a great slice, and thats what I get everytme I go to this place. The price is right and for $2.75 I get a huge slice with a sauce that should be independently marketed in my opinion. Its just that great. I never wait too long and if I do have to wait its usually because this place is packed with loyal customers.

Very good pizza, average service.
I have been eating their pizza for decades, it is still the best NYC neighborhood type place for blocks around. Not the best attitude, don't try to pay with a "big" bill but otherwise okay service.

Takes forever and overpriced
Went here one week night was told (rudely) my small order - salad/ sandwich would take over 15 mins I came back in 15 they were confused and seemed to have to start all over . Then finally at least 30 mind later it's 10pm on a we'd... I get way overcharged I just wanted my dinner quickly left but could not calculate how a chicken caesar salad and wrap were over $19! Never again

Good Pizza
I've lived on the UWS for about 4 months now, and I've been through about 5 different pizza joints looking for just regular good pizza. Patsy's is delicious, but its more of a specialty pizza with fresh mozz and basil. Caesar's Palace - FINALLY - is just good standard pizza. I tried so many pizzerias in the area, and was so disappointed, but this pizza is just good. The sauce is not sweet, just savory, the crust is not super thin or super thick and butter just good savory crust. Tonight, I'm a happy upper west sider! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a go-to pizza joint. Can't speak to the atmosphere or service as I ordered delivery.
