Plentiful but oily
Went there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon on a whim. Very nice atmosphere and great service. I ordered the arroz con pollo. It was nicely presented in a pot. There was a lot of it, but it was very oily.

Love it
I start off by telling you that my husband & I stopped their once after visiting the Bodies Museum. We were starving but didn't feel like eating meat. (Funny Story) --- We walked in the restaurant because the smell called us in. I was definately there for somethin lite, but as I saw those steaks coming out of the kitchen with that sizzling sound and smell... I did not care! I ordered myself some churrasco and wat can I say. I went back again with my husband and again with my mother and planning to go back for mothers day. Love to have a nice, semi-fancy latin restaurant to go to. Great food! OHH the Salmon!!! OMG!!! Great atmosphere! great dim light ! can u tell it's my favorite ?

Great Restaurant
If you are looking to eat great cuban food, Cabana's is the restaurant you are looking for, the food is great, the drinks, and great service. Just that its not the restaurant you can go to every weekend, due to the fact that it is quite pricey, but worth going to at least once in a while.

Its Ok, but not great
The atmosphere is very nice, the service is excellent. But I found the food to be ok and overpriced. I found it to expensive for the quality of the food.

Great Food For A Reasonable Price!
I went to Cabana's on 1-30-06. I took my boyfriend there for his gradaution celebration. When i went inside i was surprise because the ambiance was so nice. In additon to this the service was great and the food was off the hook. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor near the food court (Mall at south street seaport), but do not let that scare you when you. When you go inside this restaurant you will be pleased. I recommend the shrimp with cocount as a starter very good. The only issue i had was the drinks were somewhat small, and they were $9 each but i guess you cannot have everthing!

Can you hear me?
Noise level is deafening, food is OK, but far from authentic. Nice to see Latin food in a tourist venue and it is a cut above your local cuchifritos.

A must eat!
Everytime I am in NY I eat at Cabana. The entire experience is great. The charro steak is a one-of-a-kind. I only wish there was one in the DC Metro area.
