I had lunch there with a friend recently. We were on the early side (it was pretty empty) so there shouldn't have been a problem with the service but once people started coming in, the waiter kept forgetting about us. It took us 45 minutes to get our lunches. My marinated chicken breasts dish were two tiny pieces of chicken in sauce with more rice than chicken. It was bland and uneventful. The salad was better. My friend's fried chicken was overly fried with a lot of bones and hard to eat. Everybody around was getting the same thing--the sizzling skirt steak. We realized we should have joined the band wagon. There's probably a reason everyone orders the steak.

We stopped in here just after shopping at Bloomie's. My wife had ropa vieja and I had paradilla, a mixed grill. We started off with mojitos and an avocado salad. Everything was really good and the service was attentive. People have called attention to the noise level, but we didn't find it objectionable. We definitely would go back.

I've been there several times and the food is always excellent as are the mojitos. The wait time is usually a bit much, but that's a good sign. A restaurant would not have as much business as they do if the food was sub-par. A lot of people complain about the noise level, but the music is a great and very necessary addition to the atmosphere of a Latin restaurant. Besides, we Latinos are loud people.

The food is absolutely great. House reds are better than average as well. All those who say the noise level is to loud must be going during weekday lunch hours or on a Saturday night because when I've gone there was never more than a few tables full and it was very pleasant. Try it on a week night. Also to the fellas you may have to watch the wondering eyes because the hostesses and waitresses are typically apt to turn your head so you may have to be careful if you bring a date.

The food at Cabana is amazing and the atmosphere is great! Its a great place to go with a group of friends--tends to get a little noisy, so not necessarily the best choice for for a quiet date. The waiters and waitresses are really nice and give a lot of great suggestions when ordering. And the mojitos are fantastic...

The food is good, tasty and satisfying. However, the noise level is too loud.

I had a very bad experience with a so called cuban restaurant in Florida, nothing compared to the food at Cabana. I tell you, if you are in the mood for Cuban food there is no other place you could find that will satisfy your craving. Try it, you'll be agreeing with me once you've had it.
