I love this place and have been going forever. I love the atmosphere b/c its an awesome first date place or even a place for the family or girls night out. The food tastes amazing I have never had anything bad on the menue. It can get a lil pricey b/c the drinks add up but the only bad thing about this place is the service. When you walk in the hostess is rude. The servers seem rude and angry all the time. If you want happy service go to the one in south street seaport..it has a great view of the river and the service is super friendly!

The food is savory, the portions hearty... overall a bit pricey but well worth the splurge. Favorites: Sangria, Platanos (Chicken & Shrimp), Garlic Chicken Entree, Ropa Vieja, Chicken & Shrimp Entree, Platanos Maduros, Paella

I love this place! It is a great get together with a group of friends or even a romantic dinner for two. I lived in Valencia and the pallella at Cabana is the closest to that I have found. The callamari is amazing and the sangria, to die for. I make sure I go to this place everytime I come back home! The waitresses could be friendly but the place is always so packed Im sure they're just stressed out!

I went to Cabana after a friend highly recommended the food. I ordered a paella for takeout, which was overpriced for the oil-soaked food. The service was poor as the greeters gave me an attitude. I will not be going back.

I went here with a friend for inexpensive cuban food. I wound up paying more than at my fav. spot (Son Cubano) for mediocre food and quaint ambiance. Are they on crack to charge $50 for mojitos? YES

Not bad, but too american. I like my cuban dishes down and dirty. this is too refined.

Cabana is one of my favorite restaurants. I usually go to the one in Forest Hills, but the food is served just as well here. The service is great, waiters will always answer any questions. Sangrias, are good but not great. But for what you pay for, you do get a lot for the value ($20 range for pitcher). Stick with the mojitos or Mango Coladas if you prefer something sweet,To start off, the beef empanadas and coconut shrimp are awesome. The shrimp are never too oily and are done just right. The empanadas are very flavorful. I love the paella velenciana- they come in a red pot. It's a lot for one person, and there's always an abundant amount of seafood. The churrasco is a bit oily, very flavorful, but it's on the oily side. The mariscanas is always great, never overcooked. I like it with the garlic sauce instead of the tomatoe based sauce. The portions they serve here are really great for the value! Very good food. Dessert- it is not listed but Tres Leches with a scoop of Passion Fruit Sorbet is always a great end to the meal!
