Fixed Price, Great Value
Saturday lunch. Beautifully plated Fall Vegetable salad, melt-in-the-mouth Ricotta Gnocchi and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Decent portions, excellent service. Will definitely return.

A great restaurant week experience
I dined here for Restaurant week and found the food, service and value all excellent. The lobster bisque was very good, though slighlty too thin/salty for my tastes. The soft shell crab over heirloom tomatoes was superb and the licorice creme brulee was perfectly balanced. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all, highly rocommended.

Great birthday lunch!
My husband and I had lunch at Ca Va for my birthday during restaurant week and were very pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of food and the general ambiance of this lovely, chick restaurant. Both of us started off with a delicious, rich, velvety lobster bisque that came packing some big flavors, as well as a nice spicy kick to it. It was accompanied by a miniature lobster sandwich that could've been softer, or at least served warm. Next, I ordered the grilled octopus entree with squash and beans, which turned out to be the best octopus I've ever tasted, with the octopus flesh being lemony and as soft as butter. The veggies accompanying the star of the dish could've used a spicy or acidic element. My husband ordered the hand-cut penne with rabbit, which he said was also very rich and flavorful without being heavy. For dessert, we both went for the cinnamon creme brulee, which featured a beautiful sugary crust with some fresh, firm blueberries as garnish, and warm, silky creme beneath the surface. Our server was very friendly and attentive, although a bit too persistent with nudging us to order alcohol, which we didn't want to do. The meal was well-paced, the courses weren't rushed, and we felt very welcome. The chef at this restaurant clearly knows what he/she is doing, and so is the decorator who created a very inviting, modern space. We would love to pay Mr. English's establishment another visit.

Poor service
I was looking forward to trying the new Todd English in the theater district. While the place is cool looking and has a nice vibe, the service was just subpar. I got the wrong salad, dinner was served on top of the appetizers when we specifically asked to wait a bit, and the steak was charred on the outside and raw inside.

Fantastic price fixed value
Been there twice. Both times our entire party raved about the food, value, service and atmosphere. The price fixed is an incredible value for this caliber restaurant.

Would recommend
Enjoyed the experience. Floor Manager along with staff were super. To top it off the food and wine was superb. Also enjoyed a cocktail in the laid back lounge area.
