Great Food, poor Service-not worth it
Went there for the 1st time. food was great, however service was terrible and not worth the trip to eat lebanese food. Belly dancer never showed up, food was way too pricey, and not enough space to sit. The waiter was pushy to get our order even though we had just sat down and tried taking our food before we finished our meal. When we paid for the meal and gave a tip, he came back and told us we had to give 20% tip. Yes, 20% for 4 people and that we HAD to. Can u believe someone telling you how much they need as a tip. Down-right rude!

poor delivery service
Delivery was supposed to take 30 minutes but it took over an hour to get here. I called to ask what was taking so long and they made a bs excuse about an oven and a delivery person.

Traditional Lebanese
I am Lebanese and have been going to Byblos for over a decade. This is truly authentic Lebanese just as my Thata (grandmother) used to make it. I continue to try other Lebanese restaurants that pop up in the city but so far they've all fallen short. If you want traditional Lebanese, Byblos is the place to go.

Order again and again
I have ordered from Byblos multiple times when working late, although I have never eaten in the restaurant. The delivery is quick and the food is wonderful... like eating a home cooked meal, only better! For something a bit different, try the stuffed lamb breast from the chef's specials.

The best!!
I've been going to Byblos for years and it has always remained consistently good. They have a pre-fixe special on Friday nights and a belly dancer comes as entertainment.

adventure for some, comfort food for me
If you've grown up eating this cuisine, you appreciate how very well made their food is. Main dishes are the traditional standards (more like home-cooking than restaurant entrees), but the appetizers really run the gamut. Lots of choices with both familiar and unique items. Desserts are simple, but maybe unnecessary. If you've done the meal right, you've lingered long over many appetizers - "licking" the plates clean with pieces of pita - you probably have a doggie-bag with some of your main dish to take home, and finish off with just a strong cup of Lebanese coffee. Some interesting and good Lebanese wines and Lebanese beer (Almaza - has a taste like Heineken) make the meal more adventurous. Also, there are more than a few appetizers that use cheeses, not the familiar Greek feta, but more indigenous to Lebanon. I always enjoy stopping back here (I don't live in their neighborhood) and I've always recommended Byblos to friends who want to go a little farther beyond just kebobs and hummus.

Excellent Lebanese Cooking!
I had dinner along with my brother and sister on friday. We enjoyed everything from the hummus, tabouleh, shish kebab, fried kibbee, baked kibbee in hot yogurt sauce, meat pies, koussa and the tasty baklava. The service was excellent , the food was great and we enjoyed our meal thoroughly. The decor and atmosphere werent spectacular but it was very neat and and it was fine. The staff was extremely nice and accomodating.
