What's all the hype for?!
I have been told a million times that ?I HAVE to try the cupcakes from here; they are so out of this world.? To be completely honest I don?t know what all the hype is for. I have been several times, my first experience everything was great, and after that everything went down hill. I have found that the cupcake is dry, I needed an extra glass of milk to get it down, and the icing leaves a weird coating in your mouth. There are plenty of places in NYC to have better cupcakes. Although I am not a fan of the cupcakes I definitely recommend the Hummingbird cake! It is the best banana cake I have had!

Don't care how fat I get....
This little bakery is hands-down my favorite ever. They have an array of every type of cupcake...including their exclusive red velvet cupcake...which I thought tasted like I was back down South. ANNND...best yet..it's not even an arm and a leg like Soho Cupcakes (that taste like plastic..bleh). My favorite are the chocolate. The service is great...friendly and as sweet as the baked goods. The only minor negative mark would go to the tight fitted space if you decide to dine there. But I love Buttercup!
