    Overrated

The cupcakes really aren't that great. They are typically dry and the frosting is way too sweet, as if they don't even take the measure of tasting the batch after they've whipped it up. The vanilla frosting on the red velvet was disappointing, the taste did not flow.

    too sweet, too dry

The cake part of the cupcake is very dry and so dry as to be inedible a few hours after purchase. The huge mound of icing is way too sweet so most of remains uneaten. There are definitely better cupcakes in New York City!

The good and the dry but mostly dry

My boyfriend and I went and tried 3 different types of cupcakes. I had a devil cupcake and chocolate with chocolate frosting and both the cake and frosting were so dry and unappealing I didn't finish either. My boyfriend had a red velvet cupcake which was really good and a chocolate chip cookie bar which was pretty okay. I was disappointed since I had heard such good things about the place and made a special trip to eat there and then I didn't even finish my dessert

    delicious red velvet

they have the best rred velvet cupake and cake. the icing is sooo good. there's too much of it though so i usually wipe off half. and the red velvet cake is so pretty. their red velvet is 100times better than crumbs.

    not so great service

I sometimes stop by there in the morning to pick up a bun, and almost all the time, I experienced the staffs to be unfriendly. Staffs often seem angry and doing the least minimum to help me. I like the buns, but they are not good enough to tolerate the service.

    Just okay...

Went here because of all the hype, yet was slightly disappointed. All of their cupcakes basically taste the same: had a red velvet and a vanilla with chocolate and they tasted exactly the same. I feel they also have a strange after taste. They did have excellent service though, they were very polite and attentive, but I think I'd rather just buy a box of cake mix and make homemade cupcakes myself instead of paying $4 for a single cupcake.
