    Scrumtulescent

Food was great and our server was awesome. The atmosphere upstairs is def brighter and more chill than downstairs. Overall the meal was great. Yum!

    Overrated and washed up

You could barely have a conversation downstairs without having to scream to be heard because the music was so loud. This is excusable though if you know what you're getting into. The upstairs is far more conducive for intimate conversation. The decor was certainly nice. And thats the best I could say about Butter. The portions were laughable, which is to be expected at high end restaurants, but the food was lackluster, which is not excusable for what you're paying. I mean, the chicken was dry. How do you mess up chicken? In addition, our waitress was mediocre. Overall a very blah experience. Washed up like the celebrities that used to come here.

Star light, Star Bright, First Star I See Tonight

I suppose people who use words like "whatever" think they are above it all. Not so! I fly above all that drama - it's beneath me. I will admit that I went to Butter, which my Cockney boyfriend calls "Buh-UH" specifically to see celebs. Where was Ashton? Or Miley? I did love the drinks and food however. I can see why the stars go! Or do they?

    ehhhhhhhhhhhh

if you're dining at a restaurant specifically to spot celebrities, dare i suggest: you should just stay home and watch TMZ or read gossip columns.

Pretty Good - for restaurant week....

I've been to quite a few restuarants during restaurant week - July 2010. This is definitely one of the better places, good food, good service, good wine. Typically I feel like I get lesser quality food because I am participating in restaurant week, but not at Butter - it was delish.

    It was good

Went here for restaurant week. The food was good and so was the service. My favorite part about the meal was the Butter Martini. It was sooo good. Not too sweet with just a hint of alcohol, it was the perfect mix! Don't know if I would come here on a regular night as they are a bit overpriced. But if you add in a celeb or 2 I would have to make an exception.

    Star Search

OK, maybe my Ed McMahon hosted show "Star Search' title for my review is retro, but I wanted to see Bono slurping Linguini, or perhaps a C-lister like Jordan Sparks. I was all dolled up. Zebra skin shiny leggings, roman sandal stilettos, and a shift top to stop traffic. But I could have worn (shudder) polyester and been OK. I had a delicious meal - yes, it is delicious. But where were my celebs? I do not care what the precious reviewers below say. We know celebs make a scene. But good food adds.
