Burrito Box

I first want to start off saying, I NEVER write reviews. But I just absolutely had to let everyone know that this place is great. I work in the Midtown West area and I am always ordering delivery food from different restaurants. I am going to have to say that 8/10 of the times I am not impressed and always wish I would have saved my money and the calories. Today, I was having an insane craving for some mexican food. Feeling a little hesitant I began searching the web for some local restaurants that deliver. When I came across Burrito Box, I decided to cross my fingers and give it a try. Being Vegetarian I was very happy to see all the Veggie choices. I decided on a Vegetarian chili burrito and a side of beans and rice. I also asked for extra hot sauce (being that I love spicy foods). On the phone they were very quick at taking my order and I was even more surprised how fast the food arrived. It was nicely packaged with an assortment of hot sauces (great!). My beans and rice were absolutely delicious and a nice side serving size. Now the burrito was nice and fat and packed to the max with tons of yummy goodness. It rocked my world! I was so so happy to finally find some good affordable delivery in the area. I will definitely be ordering from there again! I am one happy customer :)

After moving to the West 50s we had to try a few places before we ordered from Burrito Box and hit pay dirt: very fresh ingredients, tasty, (almost) guilt-free food that isn't heavy, plenty of vegetables in everything, GREAT prices and near-instantaneous delivery. We are north and 3 avenues over and the food gets here in paramedic time. They are great on the phone and their delivery guys are always friendly and courteous.

Burrito Box has become a staple for us broadcast people on the west side. The food is GREAT and they deliver very FAST! Absolutely amazing! :-)

I love these burritos..fresh..and delish..the chicken burrito has grilled chicken..not ripped up shredded junk..and the ingredients just taste incredibly fresh..love burrito box:)

Ive given this place a lot of thought and come to the conclusion that it really is a jewel of the area. Its a place all the locals (and anyone who has asked a local) knows about. Breaking it down as simply as possible it comes down to the fact that the place just creates very high quality burritos and quesadillas (wraps and tacos are above average as well) You're not going to marvel at exotic ingredients or culinary touches. This is just tons of flavorful ingredients (over)stuffed into quesadillas and burritos that are enough for two small people or one really big guy. Every bite bursts with flavors of beans, grilled meats and their AMAZING salsa. Seriously, people will rave about their guac, but its the salsa that always amazes me most. Yes its expensive for a burrito joint. but there is not one cheap place to eat within a few blocks of here, so the $7-9 lunch for one of the bigger meals is at or below the norm of those places around it. Yes the place usually has a line to, or out, the door. But pretty much everyone at the place grabs their food to go. The food is made rapidly and the customer turnover is impressive. And even better, in-person regulars like myself get respect and have our normal orders memorized. The guy is always surprised when i dont order the chicken ranchero (an amazing burrito) and instead go for one of the specials. I probably eat there twice a week and have never been anything but wholly satisfied. if you just need a large filling burrito with all the flavors bursting in your mouth, go here. If you want to overpay for someone to put cilantro in your rice or other ridiculous culinary twists that really lose the delicious gooey magic of burritos in the "art of cooking" then go to that trendy place or that chain store. I'm sticking with my burrito box.
