I love the Burrito Bar
The decor is cute and trendy, and the margaritas are awesome. I go at least once a month, and have never experienced bad service. They are always friendly and attentive, really some of the best in the city. The food is great, and the Tiny Tim's Tacos are my favorite! I went to this place when it was in Manhattan, and moving to Brooklyn was the best thing that happened to it! It's a big space and now it's only 15 mins from my house!

Love it... one of the best chill spots
I work near burrito bar and i always pass it and hear the groovy sounds and smell the amazing food. Their food is amazing. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I havent been disappointed yet. Their smoothies are to die for... if u ever go try a jerry garcia. My boyfriend and i spent most of the summer in their dimly lit festive space. And i have to say it was one if the best summers i have had.

Nice atmosphere, ok food
I had read all of the great reviews here, so i decided to try burrito bar. The atmosphere is very nice - the place is big and spacious, nice lighting. The music they were playing was a 70s mix, which i thought was interesting being it was a mexican restaurant, but it was cool that they had a dj. The drinks were the highlight for me - i had red sangria, a mojito and a strawberry margarita. They were all great. The food was a little lacking in flavor, though. It was o.k., but it definitely needed some more spice. I've definitely had far better mexican food.

Great Food!
Back when The Burrito Bar was in Manhattan, monthly meetings had me land in the Church Street area on Saturday mornings. After the meetings I would saunter over to Church Street and a monthly "Carne Asade" from the Burrito Bar menu. Always sat at the bar, always had great service. Then the unthinkable happened. BB closed their Manhattan doors and for a few months I had to wait until I found out they reopened in BROOKLYN?!? So in January 2006 I made the trek to Grand Army Plaza and easily found the new restaurant. There was Greg the owner by the entrance (he didn't remember me) and the new decor, which looked great. Pretty much the same menu, the "FIRE" appetizer is still great as was the Carne Asade, only this time I noticed it was served without refried beans, which is a good thing. The margaritas were excellent, as were the chips & salsa. As I live in the Bronx, the trek to BB will only take place now twice a year, maybe three. Great to see Greg keeping his restaurant going.

Exactly what we wanted
Recently we moved into the neigborhood and have been trying all the local restaurants, this one was JUST RIGHT. We walked in to see a big bright clean room with nice ambiance. After being quickly greeted we were sat at a nice spacious table for two, and provided by a good portion of homemade chips and salsa. My husband ordered a pitcher of the white sangria, it was excellent. Both my husband and I ordered appetizers and entrees and everything tasted fresh and delicious and the portions were perfect. We closed with two terrific desserts: their fried ice cream and sopapillas (trust me). The only thing better then the food and drinks was the check, according to my husband, very reasonable. We'll definitely go back when the mood hits for Mexican again or just for drinks.

Awesome
This is a beautiful restaurant with charming atmosphere. The service was good and the food exceptional! The "when hot and mild come together "was so enjoyable we all had seconds. I almost did not have an appetite for the rest of the food after binging on the avocado dip that we all agreed was the best we ever had! The only probem was the long wait because it was so busy. We did not really care that much after a few of their incredible margaritas. We recommend this resaturant highly!
