The burgers are really good..it's somewhat crispy on the outside. And the cupcakes in this location is delicious. My experience at the 23rd street one was horrible. The cupcakes tasted and felt stale.

i live around the corner and always want to support local businesses - but they really try my patience. the turkey burgers are really good - but they just raised their prices so it's hard to justify getting them. the service is horriffic - both in store and delivery. plus they usually mix up orders - check yours before the delivery person leaves.

Food = not bad. burger's good. obviously it's better to eat it there than having it delivered. fries are ok as long as they don't burn them. Service = poor. there's this one girl there - she just emits misery and makes everyone around her equally miserable. if i'm ever as unhappy about my job as this girl is, i'd quit without thinking twice. also, delivery is appalling. they should just get rid of that service. it embarasses them. when you call, you'll get put on hold for 15 minutes. then they'll just hang up if you they don't feel like taking your call. Value = ok i guess. burger was small. cupcakes are good for what they cost. Atmosphere = sucks. too small. too many tables crammed in. way way way too many hell's kitchen hipster-doofuses who think it's so edgy to eat a burger AND a cupcake in the same room.

my boyfriend and i have tried tons of burgers in the city- and this place rates the lowest. the decor is amateur and the Pepto-Bismol walls were laughable. the prices are very high. i have the (bunless) burger on salad with cheese and it's was $10.95, my boyfriend had the bison burger- both were gamey, bland and dry. the lettuce for the bison burger was brown iceberg shreds that we sent back. the half pickle was browning on the edges when we turned it over off the plate. the cheese fries were a joke- melted slices of kraft american on soggy fries. the only high-light was our waitress- she was delightful and we left a tip just b/c we felt bad for her having to work there. the prices were outrageous if you are familiar with any other burger "joints" in the city- even BLT burgers are cheaper and better not to mention Shake Shack the burger gem of the city.

Read Raymond's review below. Hard to believe, but he is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT correct. I ordered despite his review and received service exactly as he described it. The food is not nearly good enough to make this kind of service even remotely bearable. Skip it. I could probably raise a cow, milk it, churn butter, slaughter it for meat and make my own burgers and cupcakes from scratch faster than these guys.

The burgers are fantastic....fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The fries are among the best in the city! The cupcakes, are good, but hit and miss. Sometimes they're fantastic, sometimes they're dry and without flavor. For around 10 bucks, though, its the best burger and fries in the neighborhood.

I popped in to B&C on a cold blustery afternoon looking for a place to get out of the cold. This place is a gem! I had the chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting. They were light and fresh with a generous dollop of icing. The recipe tastes like what your mom made before Duncan Hines. The chocolate is flavorful without being overwhelming and the smaller size makes them perfect for an afternoon snack. They were so good that I ate two and chased them with a cup of mediocre cup of coffee. Service was friendly and attentative. Recommended!
