Burgers & Cupcakes (Mitchel London Pizza)

We've gone here with a big group of adults + kids before a Madison Square Garden game, and Gladys & the gang keep improving. Last night's visit was the best so far. Everyone had a burger (or chicken or veggie) grilled to their liking with a range of topping options. Baskets of fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, etc. and soda & ice teas, too. It's BYOB so we brought our own. And each person got to choose their own cupcake piled high with rich frosting. If you are looking for a kid-friendly place to go before your next Madison Square Garden event, this is the place,... especially if you have kids with you. The price is right, the MSG walk is short, and Gladys and her staff are super-attentive.

After a co-worker reccomended this place, I decided to try it today. Service was very pleasant and it was not too busy which I liked because I could actually relax. Ordered a turkey burger with swiss and grilled onions(which were actually caramelized) no bun and an order of sweet potato fries. Burger came on a plate with lettuce tomato and onion garnish which was nice. It was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and also tasty. Could not leave without ordering some cupcakes to take back to work, so I ordered what I thought was coconut but turned out to be carrot and it was moist and so gooood. Definitely will be back.

My boyfriend and I saw this place and decided to stop in because it seemed like such a cute idea. Boy, were we disappointed. We saw several people who evidently worked there walking back and forth from the kitchen to an office and it was still several minutes before someone even came to talk to us. A guy with no respect for personal space barked at us like we were an inconvenience and asked us if we wanted drinks. We asked for Coke and ten minutes later (after seeing the staff walk by several times) and hearing the guy talking in the kitchen, no one came back. There were no other patrons in the restaurant and now we know why. We walked out - if they couldn't be bothered to bring us drinks, how could they possibly feed us?

I ordered delivery to my office for a very late night of working. I waited on hold for 6 minutes to have my order taken, it never was. I ordered online at delivery.com. 45 minutes later I received my order...it was wrong. They literally put lettuce in 3 containers and delivered it. HOWEVER, I called back completely frustrated and exhausted and the person who answered this time, apologized profusely, sent someone back to my office right away with the correct order AND 6 complimentary cupcakes. Truly appreciated.

i LOVE this place...the food is delicious, best turkey burgers, great cupcakes (i like carrot and red velvet), lemonade is perfect, handmade onion rings. ugh, i'm making myself hungry all over again! The down side is the service is lacking. They aren't rude, just a little slow. My suggestion is to definitely go, definitely eat there, just don't expect to be in and out in a hurry. The food is worth it and the manager is so nice. Even when I moved away for a few years I would make trips to this place. Totally worth it, and, if you go towards closing you'll get extra cupcakes (YUM)! Don't listen to me...check it out for yourself!

This place just does not function. I went in for lunch, ordered a burger and french fries. The Burger came but the french fries didn't. I told the waiter and she said they were on the way. So When I finished the burger and was ready to leave the fries finally came. I smiled and said "they're kinda late now", and she replied, "Don't worry, there on the house". So naturally, when the bill came, I had been charged for the late fries. So add the weird service to the just mediocre food and what do you get?

I really wanted to like this place. The name alone is so cool, but once you step in--as a customer you feel like an inconvenience. The staff really don't want to have to deal with you and it shows. Burgers are hit or miss and a bit pricey. Cupcakes are decent but you can find better in the area. They might have a fighting chance because there really is no competition in their niche in the area, but bad service will keep folks away every time. Steer clear!
