Randomly walked by this place and almost missed it because it was so small. So glad we didn't. I'm from CT where tiny grill places serving proper egg sandwiches and hamburgers abound. This is exactly what I've been missing in NY. Cheap, small, great guys behind the counter and food that hits the spot. We weren't surprised to notice everyone else in there was a regular. Definitely be back again and again for food in a pinch. Keep up the great work guys!!

Run by a terrific bunch of guys, B1 offers great, simple American and Mexican fare, breakfast lunch and dinner. The burgers are juicy, tasty and generally excellent, as are the fries. B1 is very popular with both the local UESers, as well as many service people from across the city who jam the place at lunch hour. Just like the legendary truckers in France, these guys know the best places to eat! Additionally, they have great pancakes, tacos, sandwiches and yes, chocolate egg creams.

I'm a fan of their burger and fries. It's juicy, not dry, and the fries are tasty. I've only done delivery (which comes at a decent time), but I think the burger would be even better if I dined in.

Great breakfast sandwiches, great mexican food, and unbeatable prices. I wouldn't recommend eating there but its good takeout food.

There is atmosphere, but not like you read about. Sit at the counter and watch the one guy cook. He's good as is the food. You are basically sitting in the kitchen. But the tacos are great and bring me back.

Great, authentic mexican food for cheap. Tiny hole in the wall place, but great value and yummy food. Guys there take time to carefully prepare your food and are very nice while doing it. Come discover this place!
