Diamond in the rough
One of the best burgers in the city, and its completely unknown. Try the Texas cheeseburger!

Missing order + No refund!!
Today I ordered 3 egg platters, bacon, bagel, and several drinks. We were missing 1 egg platter. I called up and they said they would call me back. An hour goes by and no phone call so I call them back. The guy says: so what do you want me to do about it? I said: Send me the missing plate or send me back the money. The guy says: Nope. Then hangs up!

Best Burger in the UES
The place isn't much to behold from the outside, and inside its often bustling with ravenous customers. But in terms of burger quality its unrivaled in the Upper East Side. Furthermore, they boast some of the only authentic tacos worth eating in the UES, with all the traditional variations on hand. They also offer one of the more spectacular breakfast burritos I've had in the neighborhood. The fresh Avocado always hits the spot.

Great, tiny, old school lunch spot
One key word: burrito. Also: Mmmmm. Very typical tiny, lunch counter place. A NY experience, good value, just an all round great place!

A Treasure!
I hate to even review this place because I want it to myself. If you blink, you'll walk right by it. The guys who own this tiny place just make really good food. Burgers are great, but the Mexican food here is fantastic. It's cheap, made fresh and quick and really hits the spot! Because it's called Burger One, most people think it's a burger spot, but they do breakfast too. And really, if you want some pretty damn good tacos, jump into this "dive" and toss a couple or five while you watch the guys cook it. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally Good in Every Way
This may be Manhattan's most lovable restaurant: wonderful guys cooking cheap, excellent food in a tiny, glorious dump. Not a hint of the cuteness, pretense, or overthought nonsense that now plague the borough. I guess it took a bunch of guys from Puebla to re-inject some old-NY-style genuineness around here. Thank God for that. I've seldom if ever had better burgers or tacos. Too crowded at the lunch rush, but that's life. Many may find this overblown, but i'd rate it "Worth a Journey" in Michelin-speak. Thoroughly recommended.
