Apparently this place has the 9th best burger in america according to GQ, that's why i went there. It was around 6 dollars for a not that big burger, that wasn't really worth it, plus it took awile for it to come out, and, although I had asked for it well done, it was pink inside.

I'd heard about this place and thought the burgers sounded delicious - that being so, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to try them. Luckily (for us!) we were staying right across the street and thought we'd call in for a snack when we noticed Le Parker Meridan. We found it quickly by looking for the huge curtain that was mentioned in previous reviews. I haven't rated the service because there isn't any - you pay at the counter then wait for them to yell your name. Once I tasted the burger though...... mmmm! Out of this world! The whole atmosphere is dingy and there aren't many tables. Your order comes in a brown paper bag. It's all worth it though! I've paid 4/5 times that price for burgers around the city but none come close! I'll go out of my way next time just to taste another ones of those fabulous burgers.

The burgers are very, very good. Second only I think to J.G. Melon's. Don't think too much of the fries...they seem to lack taste and get cold very quickly. The Sam Adams though is served nice and cold. Funky atmosphere. Go very early or very late if you want to get a seat.

Just went this past Tuesday for the first time and thought the burgers were very good. My complaint is that there is no BACON! and they only have cheddar cheese.

Simply the best... The burgers are kinda small, but great... The fries are excellent... And the milkshakes are the best I have had ANYWHERE! It is like drinking pure icecream. I have never been closer to heaven. And to the person who wrote a review about how the paper bags they serve the food in were greasy...WHAT DO YOU EXPECT...what great burger place doesn't have its fair share of grease...go get a salad!

On July 29th, my co-workers and I decided to order from Burger Joint, as they had been ranting and raving that this is the place for great burgers. Well, the food was A-OK, but I must say it's very greasy...burger and fries soaked right through the paper bag! We all needed to put our french fries into plenty of napkins before we got the chance to "chow-down"....Burger was prepared properly, but once again, seeing all that oil soak right through the paper bag made the meal less appetizing....

After reading the glowing reviews on this site, we made the excusrion up to midtown on a Sunday afternoon to check this place out. The ambiance is great- exactly what you would think of when you hear the words "burger joint", and the food is inexpensive. However, the burgers and fries were not so good. Our buns were stale, and the meat was mushy. Fries were palatable, McDonalds-esqe but not nearly as good as the golden arches. I am astonished how anyone can call this a good burger, much less one of the best in the city.
