    Good burgers, good atmosphere

The burgers here are very good, however, I would say Shake Shack and Big Nicks is better then this place. However, this place is a neat experience and a neat atmosphere to take people.

How long do you want to wait?

I went at 11:30am and still had to wait 30 minutes (standing in line and then waiting for my order). They should really limit the people who place huge orders, this is what keeps people waiting. The burger is good but nothing earth shattering. The waiting and the crowd is ridiculous. This place has been hyped up too much.

    Great Burger

Heard lots of stories about burger places in NY, and it was hard trying to narrow down the choice. We visited NY last week and it was Burger Joint we decided to try. The place is tiny and it was mobbed Sunday lunchtime. We were lucky enough to grab two bar stools before our food came out. Fries were ok, nothing to rave about. But the hamburger was great. Ordered it med rare with the works and it was juicy, fresh and....wish I had another right now!

    Hassle

I think I'm one of the people that has wrecked this place (judging from other people's old glory day stories). I heard about Burger Joint from a friend and another out of town friend, so obviously the word is out about this place. I went here on a Thursday at about 7:00. Take away half of the crowd and it would be really decent but don't except anything other than standing in line like cattle and fighting with other people to share a booth--and the burger is good but not worth the hassle.

    Don't Tell Anybody

Okay... if we keep this quiet, then things will get back to normal. Best Hamburger at Best Price in NYC... don't be intimidated by the way you get to it in hotel lobby... just look for curtain and sign and don't go when busy... VERY LIMITED SEATING.... and if there is a line, you are not going to have a great experience... keep it quiet and we'll get back to the old days.... but those fries were never great - it's about the burger and the experience. You've got to go or not been to a great place.

    Best Burger

Sure the Shake Shack is cheaper but the burgers are smaller too. This place is open year round! If you do not want to wait in a long line then go to a place with bad food. There tends not to be a wait a places with bad food. If you want low music and delicate ambiance go somewhere else as well. This place is not about good service, you bust your own tables. It is good burgers, semi decent fries and the other minimal items on the menu. In order to keep the prices down they must keep a sparse menu. It is a joint, not a resaurant. I'd go back again and again and again.

    I wish they delivered

I love their burgers, the room is adorable but it takes forever to get a table. I wish they would deliver, they would make a fortune just on our company alone.
