Burger Heaven was once one of those places that made a supreme burger, and dominated Manhattan. I have great memories eating perfectly cooked char broiled burgers, medium rare with a nice pink middle, amazing grilled onions and a soft fluffy bun. But, that is not what you will get today! Instead I got a grey tasteless lump or choice burger meat, flavorless onions on a stale bun.

Just ordered delivery and must say this place has the poorest customer service in my history of living in nyc. I ordered the warm chicken salad (which I have had at the actual location and is normally quite good) and it was completely cold. I also ordered a baked pototo which was instead 4 wedges of potato barely cooked with a slab of cheese on top. I ordered 4 diet cokes as I need them for later and they delivered 4 fountain sodas. I would have expected them to at least indicate they were fountain sodas but now I will not be using them and it was just a complete waste of money. When I called to speak to the manager he had an exuse for everything 1) sorry your chicken was cold but if you wanted it hot you should have ordered it grilled 2) the baked potato is still a baked potato and 3) you should have known that a place like this always only has fountain soda. This is the only negative review I have ever taken the time out to write on menupages - but it was just so ridiculous that the manager couldn't even comp for a few sodas. I spent $40 for my entire order and will never order from there again and would suggest if you want a decent meal delivered that you pick another burger heaven location and maybe they might have better customer service.

The Macaroni & Cheese is an awful microwaved mess. The Steamed Veggies were a bit overdone, but not terrible. The Carrot Cake was so old, it had a fermented taste. After conceding that it wasn't exactly fresh, they replaced it with a subpar slice of Chocolate Cake that was better, but kind of blah. The only thing good about my meal was the Salad and the Soda. I will never go back.

We were a couple: Chocolate Milkshake, good for $5. Reuben Burger - forgot russian/1000 island dressing. Sweet Potato Fries pretty good. Coleslaw extremely runny/watery, little flavor. American/Bacon burger - decent, 2 slices of bacon cost >$2. Swapped our burgers on how we wanted them done. Seriously overpriced, little value even though food was decent and fed our cravings. It was the kind of place that put the check down before asking you if you were done or wanted any dessert etc. Burger prices generally don't include lettuce/tomato or fries. Service decent.

Last year we 'stumbled' onto this place when one from our group was stopping at Tender Buttons. We had take out and the food arrived in a New York minute and though it was crowded everyone was friendly. This year we returned especially for the sweet potato fries and to sit inside to eat. We were a party 6 with possibly 3 more - they seated us quickly, were patient when our additional few couldn't make it and our server Donna could not have been nicer! The sweet potato fries, the best, I didn't want them to end and everyones burgers were cooked just as they had asked - and again in a New York Minute! I don't know how they do that... One of the woman in the three that couldn't make the 20 block walk before we were leaving was very upset that she didn't get to dine with us at Burger Heaven she was lusting for a burger just like last year. Well, she'll just have to wait for our next trip! It will be worth the wait. Excellent food, clean, fast and friendly!

My friends and I stumbled upon Burger Heaven this past Saturday around 2:00 in the afternoon. I have to say this was the best burger I ever had. Fries were fantastic also. Place was very clean, service great and fast.
