    Get realistic, people!

Everyone here is hissing about the prices. But this is an East 50s joint - whadya expect?! Burger and fries: $12. Sure, that's to be expected. as far as quality goes, though, it's quite good. As one reviewer wrote, "you could do a lot worse" trying to find a relatively inexpensive meal (under $50+ per person) in this neighborhood. And this place is way under that. Try under $20 per person. Is it the local salad place, no it's more expensive than that. But it also tastes a lot better!

    Expensive Deli Kind of Food

Went there with couple of friends for lunch. We thought the price was reasonable from a brief look at the menu. I ordered a tuna sandwich and when the waiter asked if I wanted fries with it, of course I said yes. But who knew that I had to pay extra $3 for the fries? So a simple tuna sandwich with fries costs $12! My friend ordered a cheeseburger and also thought a side order would come with the order, so he asked if he can have salad. It turns out that salad was for extra $5 or $6. so the cheeseburger with salad cost $13! Very expensive. Waiter should have told us that those side orders cost extra. Poor service on that end! Atmosphere is just regular diner place. Overall, the value is low because I could have paid half the price for what I ordered at other places.

    could have made my self

The burger was definately not worth $7. I mean talk about no taste. Can someone please find me a place that makes a decent burger for a reasonable price.

    Boo Hiss

Mediocre at best. Delivery was fast since I'm 3 blocks away BUT...I don't eat cows so i dunno about the beef burger... BUT the turkey burger is the boring bland standard frozen patty that every bad deli and bar in the city gets (probably from ye olde Sysco brand!!). Fries were suprizingly cold for how fast the food showed up. The veggie chili is good but that doesn't mean slappin it on a baked potato makes it worth like $10....Jeez... Boo Hiss

    Burger Heaven?

This was a good tasty burger worth more than your average fast food burger perhaps. On my 5 point scale it rated fairly well, it was just a bit cost prohibitive. 1- Taste- Taste was solid here, nice juicy fresh & meaty, good bun too 2- Construction- Good construction, didn't constantly threaten to fall apart even with the dogpile of fixins I always load on and didn't get lost under all the fixins either! 3- Amenities- Fixins were standard but good. Fresh, clean and well prepared 4- Price- A bit pricey maybe even a bit TOO pricey. 5- Atmosphere- Diner like feel, Top restaurant prices food quality somewhere in between. A good solid once-in-a-while burger place

Good Burger, Everything else, less so

The place is jam packed, the service is poor. It's loud and obnoxious and they try to rush you out. If I'm gonna pay over $20 for a burger and salad, I could do better almost anywhere else. Try your local diner instead.

    Why bother?

The burger was decent, but way too overpriced for what you get. Had to ask to waitress over and over for drink refills and extra napkins. If you want a better value and a better burger, go elsewhere.
