Delicious food, great prices, amazing atmosphere, definitely the best Italian restaurant in little Italy! My favorite is the Rolitini di Pollo. Once you go you'll be addicted!

Ate at Buona Notte recently. Although the prices were reasonable, the food was mediocre at best. The salad was essentially iceberg lettuce with some hot house tomatoes with dressing that was a congealed version of vinagrette. Two of the people I was with ordered the penne with portobello mushrooms and they seemed to think it was acceptable, but certainly were not raving about it. I had Chicken Sorrentina which consisted of two dry pieces of grilled chicken with a lump of melted cheese. I won't be going back any time soon.

One of the most well-priced restaurants on Mulberry Street. In addition, all the dishes taste great. The penne with portabello mushrooms is my favorite. The baked clams are also excellent. Definitely my favorite choice in Little Italy. AND the waitstaff has always treated me very well. I've been here at least a dozen times. Whomever stated that the service was bad because the waiter was upset they did not leave a sufficient tip- let me say- in NYC (and anywhere else) you tip on the ENTIRE bill- you do not exclude certain items. That is tacky and cheap.

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city. The portions are deceptively large, and all of the food tastes great. It is also a little cheaper than some of ther other Little Italy restaurants. My mother loves their eggplant parmesean, and I love this pasta dish with both smoked and cooked salmon in it. They are always quick to seat, even during the festivals.

I learned a lesson that if I chose to only tip on the food portion of my bill and not on the $22 bottle of wine.. that I would have the waiter come to my table in front of my family and neighboring tables and scold me for my tip not being sufficient... my son had planned on putting the few bucks on the table for the bottle of wine he urged me to purchase.. and when the waiter reviewed my credit card slip he was quick to insult me . After I left very disturbed and upset I realized I left merchandise behind on the table I bought in Little Italy as well making my experience here horrible., Would suggest another place,,, preferably one that offers the full menu meal deal that includes your salad, dessert and beverage...

Arrived without a reservation on a busy weekend evening, were greeted warmly and seated within 2 minutes. The service was attentive, the specials attractive, imaginative and well prepared.

Food was sub par for a little Italy Restaurant.
