Walk a little further into Little Italy
Very limited menu. The gnocchi arrived tepid and starchy. The chicken with proscuitto and eggplant was way too salty. Do yourself a favor and walk a few more steps, there are many better places to eat that don't cost any more than Buona Notte.

Like momma made
Growing up Italian I never thought I would have food like we had at home untill I first had lunch. Great family place to go, I miss it already

Major disappointment
I have been to this place three times over the past several years, and the first two times the food was wonderful, staff helpful and fun, atmosphere romantic and relaxing. My date and I walked in there last week and it was like Jekyll and Hyde. The appetizers were soggy, tasteless and rubbery, main dishes nothing to write home about, and the service was all over the place. Wrong food delivered to numerous tables while we were there, very little attention at our own table. I was VERY disappointed, as it was my 40th birthday dinner, and I was looking forward to it with anticipation.

Loved it!
I went to this resturaunt quite a while ago, but I have to say the very loud little man in the zoot suit is AWESOME!! Granted, I am a college student and went there with friends, so not a romantic evening, but the atmosphere was delightful and the food was some of the best I have ever had. We spent a substantial amout of money for college students, but it was worth every penny, and I am planning on returning there on my next trip to NYC.

Great food
We recently visisted this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The Insalata Di Mare is to die for. Tender and well marinated pieces of fish were served. My husband had a fabulous pasta dish and my chicken rollatine was fantastic. Great service and reasonably priced.

Great food in Little Italy!
We visited this restaurant on Mulberry Street for the first time last night. We WILL be back! We both had the Rigatoni with baby meatballs... highly recommended! The service was fantastic... not too smothery, but very attentive. The appetizer was great, as well. Our total bill was just $59 for the two of us, quite reasonable for NYC. If you are looking for a quaint place to enjoy a relaxing Italian dinner, go to Buono Notte.

Excellent Excellent Excellent
My wedding and reception was held here and it was FABULOUS!. The food and service was fantastic!! The food was so fresh and delicious, my guest all raved to me about how much they liked the food and how excellent the service was. My family is Italian (some off the boat) and all were very impressed with how delicious the food was. THANK YOU THANK YOU to Buona Notte and StaffI for giving me a memory of a lifetime!
