forget veal dishes
atmosphere and service were good. My husband and I ordered two different veal dishes -veal was not good and sauce on pasta nothing special. We were very disappointed.

My Favorite Restaurant
The food is great the owners treat you like family . Everytime I am in the city I make sure I have lunch or dinner at Buon Amici. You can relax and enjoy . No rush. I have recommended to family, friends clients .

Love it!
My husband and I love this place. The atmosphere is old-school Italian and the food is fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Their staff is great, especially Linda who always takes good care of us. I like that they have fantastic regular dishes and some really great specials each time we go there.

Excellent meal
This meal was excellent. We had delicious short ribs that tasted like my mom made them, and rigatoni that were cooked perfectly. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt, and the music was charming as well. Overall a great find, and a place I would go back to in a heartbeat.

A great find in the Seaport Area
We found this place recently on a trip to the seaport and loved it. It is a small little place away from the touristy areas, but the food is fantastic. Try the chicken marsala. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is small and cozy.

Another Charming Neighborhood Italian
I have had both open ravioli dishes (lobster, veggie), risotto, chicken piccata, specials like pan fried baby artichokes, simple lunches like caesar salad and soup. Dining companions swear by the veal and loved the linguini with clams. They have the best bread in Seaport North and it is served warm. Usually I just as Pat or Mike what to have. If I'm really lucky I can beg Pat for her special eggplant (not on the menu anymore). Service and food are consistent. This is a casual, friendly, homey place where you can be comfortable dining with friends/family or alone at the bar. With 4 Italian rest. in the neighborhood, Buon Amici remains one of my favorites! I wish they still had brunch.
