In the two times that my wife and I have went here for dinner we have had some of the worst service I've been exposed to in NYC in over four years. Last night (being the most recent experience) had us arriving there about 7:40pm and less than half of the tables were being occupied. Although we were seated right away, it took 15 minutes for a server to come and take a drink order. Please note: a table of three who came in 5 minutes after us were seated, greeted and had their drink order taken all before anyone even came to our table. When the server finally did come over we ordered drinks (iced-t and a glass of wine) which took another 10 minutes to arrive at the table. Finally after the server did another 6 passes by our table before she came to take our order. She was pleasant and during my ordering of the Chicken Cobb Sandwich I expressed that I did NOT want blue cheese on my sandwich. We then proceeded to go through a list of numerous options that I could have instead... mustard, mayo, etc. I agreed that I would do mustard. She then placed the order. The Brussel Sprout appetizer was extraordinary, both my wife and I enjoyed them. The appetizer to main course time line was fine. Although we had now been at the restaurant close to an hour. When the runner did bring the food my wife's burger was fine. She enjoyed it. Mine was missing the condiment that I asked for. The server stopped by before we even took a bite and asked if "if everything was OK". I'm not sure how we would have known at that point, but anyway... (in retrospect we should have just said goodbye because we didn't see her again till the bill came.). As I took a bite into my sandwich I noticed that the bread was burnt and also a pungent smell and very distinct taste that didn't agree with me. The bottom of the sandwich was slathered in blue cheese. I choked down half of the sandwich and left the second half. I had to flag down the runner for another iced-t because the server either just walked on by or stood at the bar and chatted with the other employees. After the runner cleared the plates we then sat there for another 27 minutes (yes, I timed it) with no offers of dessert or another drink. Then the server came by and asked if we wanted the bill. It was the fastest she moved all night! She came back with it immediately. Somehow my wife talked me into a 15% tip, to which I hope 14% went to the only useful employee... the runner. There are too many places here to go back to BoB...

Been coming here for years and it's a great place (and the people there are very nice); but what happened to the other menu? The options aren't nearly as good now as they used to be. I miss the mac and cheese, veggie burger, Cobb Salad & amazing sides. BoB - bring it back? Please? Either way, you're a good joint.

We have loved the cozy neighborhood vibe and comfort food of BoB for years, and unfortunately, they just changed the menu and it is disastrous. Gone are the delicious veggie burger, pulled pork on pretzel bun, homemade chips, and mac and cheese. The menu has been replaced by strange, nonsensical items and even stranger "fried potatoes" (disaster). They were still able to find a veggie burger to serve me, and my husband got the regular burger, and both both were unremarkable and served on buns from Key Food. What a disappointment. Although the service is finally much better (cheerful and polite!) and it's lovely to sit outside on a nice evening, we will not be returning. It was, sadly, one of the most unremarkable meals I've eaten in NY.

We ordered a few burgers medium well. I showed up to pick them up and was ignored by hipster beardo staff. Finally got someone's attention and left with my food. Upon arriving home, discovered that the burgers were rare at best, and that was disturbing because they have sausage in them. Also, no pretzel buns as advertised. Instead stale brioche buns. Very disappointing. Not going back.

I Work at Juniper Galaxy 82 Bond so on Saturdays we sometimes order burgers and pick them up-They are very tasty. Lately I am going there for dinner when friends stop by my store. I only order burgers or salads and beer here-That is what appears to work best for this place. Nice beer selection on tap and the food is consistent simple and good -I think the service is fine. My only complaint would be the dude who pulls this big dog around the tables while we are eating ; that guy has no clue about training a dog!

BoB has the makings of a cool neighborhood spot. Most of the food I have had there has been solid. And it a great looking place. If they just put a little more effort into satisfying customers, it could be a great place, but that would require...ya know...effort.

The restaurant has the making of what could be a cool, eclectic little spot. But with a sparse menu, poor service, and many items already missing from the small menu to begin with, I wouldn't come here again for a meal. A lingering drink, or cup of coffee is about all this place should offer. We placed our orders at 7:10 - the meal didn't come until 8:15. And the pasta dishes were cold, and had to be returned. When asked about the dessert menu we were told they were out of everything except one thing, so "didn't want to be misleading." Good to know!
