It's About the Burger, man!
Hands down the best burger in town! Part beef, part chorizo, cooked the perfect medium rare. Can't beat it, and it's that way every time - and I've had it a lot of times now! I'm a day time customer and service has always been great. The fries - outstanding. I don't eat much of the veggie fare so I can't speak to some folks criticisms about that, but between the burger and the pork sandwich and the rest of the comfort food items on the menu, top notch. Great atmosphere. Glad to have the place on my Block! getting ready to go get takeout there right now, in fact!

Great place with the nicest stuff but can you do something about your food?
Excellent cafe atmosphere and the nicest stuff but please do something about this food. Salad with fresh vegetable would be a start. Sandwiches with better bread. Snacks other than oily french fries. Greasy American food is a no no esp for this neighborhood. Otherwise an excellent place to sit and work at.

I agree with the post by D. The place is very cool but the menu is pretty limited and the staff seems unable to handle even the smallest crowd. The owners do design work for other restaurants so they should know that the menu could use more than 2 entree options and that if they want to be more than another bar that serves mediocre food they need to step up.

veggie burger heaven!
Hands down the BEST veggie burger EVER. I consider myself a major carnivore but... this converted me, or at least for that fortuitous afternoon! Try it!

Step it up
There's a ton of options in this neighborhood and if this place is looking to stick around it needs to step up it's game a little. The food is good, but nothing outstanding, and the service gets increasingly weak with even the slightest crowd. The interior is very cool and the location is very nice, but this place needs to pay attention to the rest of what makes a great place last.

Beautiful and Delicious!
I was so happy when this new coffee shop/bar/restaurant opened in my neighborhood! It is absolutely beautiful, with so many interesting details and custom pieces. I love that it's a cozy coffee shop in the AM, and a bar and restaurant at night. Great comfort food, nice crowd, laid back vibe. Very friendly staff. The turkey club is a must try, as well as the warm apple pie. LOVE it!!!
