Clientele to leave for, food to stay for
I agree with Chanel S.'s review below. I too am mystified by the current fashion of "hipster" that you see all over Williamsburg. None of these types above 14th Street in Manhattan! But that said, the local color perhaps fits with the casual atmosphere, and certainly the food! The hushpuppies have peppery kick (you'll want to dance, even in stilettos), and the avacado burrito was sublime. Do I want to be a hipster? Bet your bottom dollar no! But I don't mind eating like one.

Just don't
I ordered delivery regularly from this place. Never tipped less then 4-5 dollars. Have always been patient on the phone. Have never complained about what comes to my door. But after almost a year of giving them business every week enough is enough. The food is consistently undercooked. Infact my wings were pink inside. The phone person takes forever and has to ask you to repeat everything at least 3 times. The fries taste like they were dipped in water. This place doesn't have to be, but is a dive. The only thing they respect less then their own establishment is their customers. If your in the mood for wings or mexican food, save your money and spend it at a place that will respect your business.

Disappointed
Ok so it wasn't what I expected it to be at all. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was not good at all. It wasn't even grilled chicken it was untasty pulled chicken thigh shreds, slabbed on an ugly bun. The fries was delicious, as well as the guacamole. My husband said the burrito wasn't tasty at all. The service was poor, they keep forgetting to bring stuff that we ordered or asked for.

I keep trying to give this place a chance because its super close to my apt, but every time I go. I wish I had chosen somewhere else. The food is always extremely disappointing....no matter what i get. I don't know how they actually stay in business.

We still have to understand if this is a mexican, American and sometimes even Asian place! they should focus in just one direction and do it well. The shrimp tacos were not good, the churros hard and dry, the rice and beans... We don't even want to talk about it. The quesadilla was good but any 3 years old can melt cheese on a torlillas... Didn't try the wings which most people like. May be they should get rid off the Cantina and keep the Buffalo.

Grubby clientele aside, positively delicious!
I'm just not sure about the "Williamsburg hipster" thing. On a lark, I took a car to this establishment to see what others in my smart set were talking about when they said this area was the place to be. This establishment seemed to be the perfect place to start my journey. Well~I can tell you this: the food was rustic. But delicious! I would never eat 5 alarm wings again in Stilettos (no details needed here, you get the idea), but the mac and cheese soothed and the cold beer (yes, I dared), hit the spot. But the amount of flannel, wallet chains and undersized blue jeans around me was shocking! I felt like I was in a tawdry saw mill! I just don't get the look. But I do get the food - recommended!
