Great (healthy) eats on the UES
I live on 88th and 3rd - every time I exercise now I get a craving for these guys. They can make lean protein taste like the best fried chicken you've ever had. Kimchi has always been crunchy and light even when you order delivery - and I know this is hard. Staff is friendly - maybe it's a bit of camaraderie now but this is something worth supporting in our neighborhood.

Love the food
Just found this little gem a month ago! I really like the potato wasabi pancakes. Can't find 'em anywhere else. The kalbi is also better than the really expensive options available in k-town. I live close by but when I've got lots of work to do I just dial in an order. Much better than a greasy slice of pizza or a coma-inducing burger. Sofar, their delivery service has been quick and friendly. Yup, you don't get guys that look like brad pitt delivering your food, but the last time I checked this is nyc.

the little place does right
every time i eat here, i feel like i did right. the food is pretty good, and i appreciate that this place, though fast, uses good ingredients. i order delivery at least twice a week - addicted to the #1 kalbi dish - and i've always been happy with the prompt, i mean quick, service. eating in can be a little cramped, but it's fine as long as you realize that there is no public restroom. i live right around the block, so no issues here. it is what it is. a great little place to grab a really quick bite of food that is definitely a notch or two better than what you'd expect from a fast-casual place. highly recommend!

compromises
so you have to wait til they notice you've come in for dinner before they start serving you, and in the interim you have to put up with the delivery guys using the front door and letting the ac out and the worst part of summer in... and if you have to use the bathroom you're sol. but all that aside, i'm consistently impressed with the quality of the food, you don't get that heavy odd feeling of regret with typical faster food places. delivery is prompt, even if a bit scary (their delivery guys looks like a throw back of a la gang documentary, but has never mugged me) all in all whenever i want good food that doesn't preserve my liver i order or visit these guys.

Gone way downhill, don't bother
We've been ordering from Buddha since they've opened, and over the past couple of months, the food and service have gotten awful. We ordered this week and asked for extra chili sauce for one of the noodle dishes. Instead there was no chili sauce at all, either in the dish or on the side. The beef with this dish was almost all gristle. The cold noodles had no veggies except for cabbage (missing carrots, peanuts, onions, scallions). There was also no dipping sauce for the egg rolls, but those were good as usual. When we called to complain, they sent the delivery guy back to bring a single souffle cup of chili sauce and some soy sauce packets. All of this for $35? No thanks.

Delicious Spicy Peanut Sauce
I usually only order the Spicy Peanut Rice Bowl for lunch which is always delish! Ordered the side salad and was surprised how large a portion and a mix of veggies. Staff always friendly. Fast delivery.

Great to mediocre
I first went to this place when it opened and had been super impressed with the amount, quality, and price of the food. When I found out how great the beef was (from another reviewer on menu pages) I had to try since most establishments at this price point would not have very good beef. First time that I had the beef, I was honestly blown away by the tenderness and flavor. Tonight when I ordered, I was sorely disappointed with the lack of quantity of the beef...not that there was a huge amount before, but this time it looked as if they took one of the pieces of beef from my last meal, and proceeded to shave this ultra-thin to make it look like there was a good amount in the dish. To add insult to injury, their prices had gone up since I last ordered. I still like the place, and wouldn't boycott them, but like I said, I was sorely disappointed with them since my expectations were at another level.
