Neighborhood Gem
I dropped in for lunch with a friend who works in the area. Nice Korean comfort food and salads at fair prices. It's a small place, not for dating or a group. I especially liked finding out that their meats are no-hormone, no-antiobiotic, and salads are organic. I will definitely be back.

Healthiest Food on UES
I go to Buddha BBeeQ (weird spelling) at least 1.5 times a week. This place has the freshest, healthiest cuisine around, which is what has me coming back. I happen to like Asian cuisine in general, but it's the quality, freshness, and wholesomeness of this food that makes it an amazing value. I get the Thai Cabbage Salad with the spicy dressing with a side of brown rice, and always leave full without feeling gross. The cold peanut noodles are amazing (usually I get another menu item to eat half of, along with my salad, and bring the rest home) and of course everyone loves the short ribs. You'll start drooling was you watch others' food delivered to their tables. The atmosphere I love: during the day it's pretty quiet and you can usually share the place with just one other set of people. I like to go there to read with my boyfriend. At night, people bring dates so it's more lively. Frankly, it's a little cramped, but I kinda think it's charming. If you go there regularly you'll notice that a lot of the other customers are regulars, too. There's a reason this place hasn't gone out of business despite the construction outside. My recommendation is to give it a try.

Lovin' that Buddha BBeeQ
We LOVE Buddha BBeeQ! We order here at least 2 times a week and the server who takes our order knows us by now. The food is clean tasting and always very good. A perfect treat after a long day of work when you don't feel like cooking. Highly recommended for take-out!

Excellent BBQ
I ordered the short ribs on the bone, and it was delicious. Pricing is on the expensive side, but they gave a pretty good portion size. Would definitely recommend the short ribs.

Okay
It's not food that you would find in Koreatown, but it's okay when I'm craving Korean food. The food is okay. I wish the portions were bigger because the price is a wee bit pricey for Korean food.

Top Quality
This restaurant really surprised me and I've become a loyal customer. Food quality is outstanding. Meat cuts are tender and marinated really well. Vegetables are fresh. The curries are delicious and vegan, which is a nice touch. And the K-rice is better than some of the rice dishes at K-town. Smoothies are delish. This is an outstanding Asian restaurant and saves me a trip downtown when I'm craving Asian (mostly Korean) foods. I usually order delivery and it always arrives promptly. But I have on occasion dined there - the space is tiny and minimal but service is ok.

Always a safe bet
It's soooo hard to find good Asian food on the UES. This place is always tasty and fresh, and makes me happy :)
