love it! love it! love it!

i dont know what restaurant all these people who are giving bad reviews ate at? i have been to buddakan many a time and the food has always been the same AWESOME! the taro puff lollipops and bbq spare ribs are amazing, as well as the tuna spring rolls and general tso's dumplings...besides the food being great what keeps me coming back here is the service...from the hostesses to the waiters, everyone is very nice and attentive..i have never encountered a snobby attitude at all! yes the crowd can be a lil corporate, but it all depends on what time and what day you go...the later the better!!

Had a wonderful meal at Buddakan last night. The space is really spectacular and the food was delicious. It does get a little noisy, but that is true for many places these days. The service was perfect, very welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to go back!

I dont leave reviews very often but I absolutely have to given the level of service I received last night at Buddakan. Our waiter made what was fantastic food even better. We asked him for his opinion on what to get and he gave us numerous choices to select from. We took his advice and boy were we glad. The appetizers and both main dishes were absolutely amazing. The crab was pretty much to die for. Then, when I mentioned I loved the wine I was drinking, he steamed the label off and gave it to me so i could remember the name should I want to buy it sometime. (which I did). He then gave us not one, but two desserts that were his favorite, without us asking, both being fantastic. He was always attentive and honestly it was just one of the best experiences in nyc I have had in a very long time.

Good food. strong drinks. cute women

The food is served family style so it is great for a big group. The only thing that is bad is the soup dumplings (where is the soup?). But the scallion pancakes with beef, the mushroom noodles, the bbq ribs (the best i have had) and the amazing duck salad and beef tartar. It is all good. Plus, there are some hot women there.
