Went here the other week with 7:45 reservations on a Wednesday, still ended up waiting a bit for our table, so we had a couple drinks while waiting. Really liked the Fever, and the bald bartender with the handlebar mustache was really cool. Offered to remake my girlfriend's drink if she didn't like it (she doesn't drink gin and he recommended a gin drink). For the meal, we started with the edamame dumplings and the tuna tartar spring rolls. I really recommend both... the dumplings really reminded me of perogies, but in a good way. The tuna tartar was like some of the best spicy tuna sushi I have had, but in a spring roll. For the mains, we had the Alaskan black cod, the charred filet, lobster fried rice, and Asian greens. The cod was amazing... melt in your mouth delicious fish, on par with the black miso cod at Nobu. The filet was ok... the sauce it came with made it better, but fairly unremarkable. Lobster fried rice was also ok, again, nothing special, just some fried rice with a bit of lobster. The greens, really not worth getting at all. For dessert we had the peanut butter bomb, which was interesting. Had some kinda peanut butter powder around the ice cream, which was really interesting. The atmosphere was ok. The service was ok... the shaved head handlebar mustache bartender was great, but the waiter did not really check in on us much. Total damage for 4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 mains, 2 sides, and a dessert with tax and tip came out to $205. The apps and the Alaskan black cod make the visit worth while.

Last night my husband and I were celebrating my birthday at Buddakan. Wow, the food was spectacular, but the key ingredient in what made Buddakan an exceptional restaurant was the gracious and very attentive service of everyone from David who was our waiter to the manager Paul Downie. Last evening's celebratory dinner with my husband could not have been handled any better- the staff gets it and that's why Buddakan deserves 5 stars! We're already planning what to order on our next visit

When my friend and i arrived we were greeted impeccably. Oh Dear! when it came to getting seats - thats where it all went wrong - we found a seat ourselves to be questioned on why, confirmed we had a reservation and was left to our own devices. One comment if you have never been before ensure you ask how and what to order. On a good note the food was EXCELLENT!!

Every time I go there the food is always excellent. We get an assortment of appetizers & share & they are so delicious. The edamane dumplings, vegetable fried rice & spare ribs are incredible. A must go!

Ate here in betwen christmas and new year. The food was amazing, the service impeccable and the place itself is impressive. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. The short rib of beef was to die for!

The service at Buddakan was great- our waiter had been at the restaurant since it opened and made excellent recommendations. The drinks were, especially good- the Charm, were delicious. I really enjoyed the vegetable dumplings and the tuna tartare rolls.
