Overpriced
Way too pricey for the size of the entrees. Edamane dumplings were great, dessert good and beautifully service. But over all way too pricey for what you get. Many more places in NYC with better ASIAN food and much better prices too.

Outstanding
Had dinner there last night for our anniversary and it was a flawless experience. Everything was perfect, exceptional service, tasty drinks and the food was exciting, creative and tasted like heaven! We ordered so many things because everything looked so good & it really was. This is now our favorite restaurant in the city! Dessert was spectacular as well. Can't wait to go back! Shout out to the unbelievable chefs. Thank you.

exceptional
definitely one of my top favorite restaurants, the decor here is incredible. The vibe of Buddakan is great. The food doesn't disappoint, the rock shrimp was my favorite.

The best there is!
Being a chef for over 10 years myself, this cuisine and city is very highly regarded by me. Buddakan tops the rest and comes out with a solid 5!

It's just ok...
This place looks club-like trendy, but maybe the fake bookshelf decor on the lower level captures the over all a bit average experience. The service is uninspired and obviously keen on clearing away the food, the food is of decent quality but given its price rather boring and the audience is a bit too wannabe. The drinks are good, not enough to come back though.

Outstanding!
My favorite restaurant in New York. The edamame dumplings are the most delicious food I have ever eaten!!! Must try!
