This place is a gem ... a bit overcrowded though. I've been there for years, their brunch is delicious with good portions. The atmosphere is great and this is probably the best restaurant in the city for star-spotting !

Lived in tribeca for years, have been here many times. But I have to finally comment this place is very expensive for what it is, and just not that good. Pies are supposed to be fab, ordered Strawberry Rhubarb yesterday for a friend's birthday, and it was just ok in taste and unappealing in color which was rather murky pink. Got a slice of yellow cake with chocolate ganache today after seeing it yesterday and wanting to bite into so badly! To great disappointment, it was very bad: dry and not tasty. Melted chocolate cake is also only ok. Entrees are generally fine, just extremely overpriced. That being said, it is Tribeca. I would expect the desserts to be so delicous since Bubby's was originally a pie company; they are just mediocre. It's very loud with kids, so if you don't have them, don't bother!

This place used to be good, but has become overly priced and mediocre. The pies are the best, but ignore the rest of the food.

Slow slow delivery. I live just a couple blocks away and it took an hour and a half to get my 1 sandwich. I have had this experience numerous times. Do not deliver from here. Food is decent, but certainly not worth the money or the wait.

I had never been to this place and somehow ended up here the other night with my wife. The food looked appetizing enough for what we wanted and it was getting late and we were hungary. The atmosphere was no big deal as we would have preferred to sit outside, but they were closing that area. We ordered the arugala salad and the garlic burger that comes with 2 sides. We shared that and enjoyed it with a couple sierra nevada's on tap. The food was great, the burger perfect and moist, and the salad was excellent. Also the fact they have Sierra on tapped scored points. We had plenty of food and the service was good, especially considering they were busy. Our bill was $44.00 including 20% gratuity. All in all, no complaints and would reccomend to anyone looking for a satisfying meal at a fair price.

We went early on a Saturday to beat the crowd. Ordered what they said is their most popuar dish 19 dollars for two eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes, and coffee. (tastes same as IHOP except potatoes are not hash browns they are unappetizing browned chunks) The atmosphere better be good, it wasn't. The service was poor. Couldn't get a refill on water and the iced tea took forever. Made the mistake of saying "could you give us a minute more to order" and she came back 10 minutes later. Crowded with tons of kids but hey at least Sam Waterston was outside! It seemed the place for people who have money to waste and no taste, basically old people and parents who don't want to adventure.

Overall, Bubby's is great. Don't go there, however, if you are on a diet.
