The poorest service
As much as I love going to Bubby's the service absolutely kills it. Not only will the waitstaff ignore you but additionally they are no where to be found. 2x in a row I went there and had poor service and wasn't even offered biscuits and water. It really kills it because i think this place is great. The last time I went the service was so poor that we left a note on the back of the check. Btw I've waited tables before so I normally tip very well.

Go here for breakfast
These people who are complaining are complaining about the dessert. The dessert is ok but despite "pie co." being in the name, Bubby's is known for their breakfast. Best pancakes in the city! Best breakfast in the city.

Great meal and kid friendly
I've been there two times over the past year and both times it was better than average. Last night I went with my family which includes an infant and a three year old. Although it wasn't packed with kids it was most certainly 'kid friendly'. Crayons, high chairs and very reasonably priced kid's menu. I"m betting this place gets loads more kids during the week and on weekends not during the summer. As for my meal, yellowfin tuna, it was prepared perfectly(rare) and was of very high quality. Overall it was an enjoyable dining experience and I will definitely go back again.

Delicious pancakes
went for sunday brunch. pancakes were delicious. not cheap but it's good and a lot of food. not much to look at inside. kind of crowded which makes it almost not worth it. if you go, sit outside and avoid the inside crowd. juice is overpriced here.

Old, tired and way too many kids
Stroller Central - be prepared for slow service, cold meals and a billion babies. The pies are ok, but nothing great. However, the place is always packed, so maybe I'm down right wrong on this one.

Terrific!
This place is a gem ... a bit overcrowded though. I've been there for years, their brunch is delicious with good portions. The atmosphere is great and this is probably the best restaurant in the city for star-spotting !

Really not worth it
Lived in tribeca for years, have been here many times. But I have to finally comment this place is very expensive for what it is, and just not that good. Pies are supposed to be fab, ordered Strawberry Rhubarb yesterday for a friend's birthday, and it was just ok in taste and unappealing in color which was rather murky pink. Got a slice of yellow cake with chocolate ganache today after seeing it yesterday and wanting to bite into so badly! To great disappointment, it was very bad: dry and not tasty. Melted chocolate cake is also only ok. Entrees are generally fine, just extremely overpriced. That being said, it is Tribeca. I would expect the desserts to be so delicous since Bubby's was originally a pie company; they are just mediocre. It's very loud with kids, so if you don't have them, don't bother!
