Just like another poster, I miss the old Bubby's and have no idea what happened here. It used to be the most reliable, cozy place for comfort food. Now, the service stinks and the shorter menu leaves much to be desired. I desire the old Bubby back, but until she's back I won't go back here. So sad!

My boyfriend and I had Sunday brunch here and the meal with delicious. The cheese grits are to die for!! Although the prices were a bit on the high side, we'll still definitely be going back. Will definitely try the pies next time - they looked delicious!

They changed the menu, increased the prices and can't fill the place. We were there last Saturday and the place was practically empty. The waiter said the menu had changed 3 x in the past 2 months. What used to be a good standby where you could see a random celebrity, has really gone downhill. It has really gone downhill. Too bad (though the pie's still good).

We've lived in the neighborhood for a long time now, and until recently, regularly enjoyed delivery from Bubby's. Over the last six months, everything has gone down hill. It all started with food taking an hour and a half to be delivered about six blocks away.... then food came cold... then food never showed up at all... the list goes on and on. At any rate, if you want Bubby's - go there. Their whole delivery is a disaster.

I live in the neighborhood for 8 years and I have over the years gone there with all 3 of my small children- but... I cant stand to go there anymore. What is so child freindly about this place now? Because they have some crappy old books for the kids? Oh it must be because they give out baloons! Whoop-de doo. I think it must be the 50 stairs that lead you down to the unclean bathroom? Or maybe the fact that you have to leave your stroller outside?( I was told to do that with a 3 week old baby) or if you are lucky enough to be able to bring in your stroller, you have to sit right near the stairs to the restroom. I have not even started on the declining food or hike in the prices, or themenu changes! - This place used to have a good feeling and the food was decent enough, but, come on people, don't buy into the hype. This is one of those places everyone USED to love that still gets lumped in the "child friendly" category. Breakfast for me and my 3 kids (one does not even eat solids yet) was $80.00 with a tip- all we had was pancakes choclate milks and a coffee-sorry, a cappucino! I think this place needs to get over itself and become the Bubbys that the people in this neighborhood helped to make popular- until then, I will take the kiddies elswhere!

We live just a few blocks away, and a guilty pleasure is cooking dinner and later ordering a milkshake and peanut butter pie. We found out the other night that they no longer deliver anything with a lid, despite the fact that when a milkshake arrives you cant get it up the straw. Tonight we couldn't get an answer on the phone, despite repeated tries. Pretty sure they have give up. Its a shame, but they should just make it public that they no longer deliver. Or at least no longer deliver anything that anyone wants.

I ate there with a friend and we had two egg dishes and three bloody marys, nothing else - $70 with tax & tip. That's highway robbery for this type of food. I used to love Bubby's but wont be going back.
