Strictly for tourists
I went here with my wife because we are Forrest Gump fans and it's a cute idea to create a restaurant based on the popular film. The food was just okay and the prices did not match the quality. I found a dead house fly in my $10 drink and they didn't even offer to take it off the bill. They just brought me a new one. The props and atmosphere were nice but I will never go back to this place again.

Superb Food and service
Have just returned from a fantastic trip, Which I visited Bubba'a a number of times food and service and having the signs on the tables is a good touch, Also there's a good cocktail menu available,

Great Restaurant
Great restaurant, have eaten there twice whilst visiting New York from the UK. Staff attentive & great food at good value. At weekends staff give great entertainment with diners participation - all good fun! Also has great shop downstairs.

A great place to dine in NY
We were visiting in NY from July 25th - Aug 3rd 2006. We just loved NY & hope to return again soon. We ate at Bubba Gumps twice during our visit. The first visit was more enjoyable than the second as we sat in an area with lots of small children the second time. We were a family of grandparents, mom & dad & two grandchildren (very well behaved) compared to others around us that were bouncing around and very disturbing to other diners around. The food was very good on both occasions, we like the decor very much. We would certainly recommend a visit to Bubba Gumps to anyone visiting NY.

Good service to match the food
I have visited Bubba Gumps resturant twice and I must say that on both visits the food and service was great. At times the resturant could get loud, especially when the staff is celebrating someones b-day. I had the mahi-mahi which was great very tasty. my waiter was excellent. I will return again.

Perfect
The food was great! They had a good variety of foods and our servers were very nice and helpful. I would give it an overall good rating!

Overpriced
Tried this theme restaurant for lunch. Fried shrimp were bland, almost hard to eat and overpriced. Service was subpar. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with my meal their response was, Oh well, sorry. This restaurant is overrated escpecially considering all of the options available in the middle of Times Square.
