    BUBBA GUMPIN'

I love me bubba gump, great food, to bad they don't take reservations. I had some fish sandwich there it was VERY GOOD, they have a chocolate/peanut butter shake also which is to die for!

    horrible experience

My friend Maria and I went on Monday for dinner. We asked for a table by the window, althought there were few table available, the hostes asked to wait up to 15 minutes. Until we point to the free tables to the waiter. The food was not that good.

    Good food and interesting place

I never would have gone to this place except that we had some quests in town who wanted to go there. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Overall I thought it was well done and the food was pretty good. The portions were big enough that my wife and I split a meal.

    Favorite NYC Spot!

I've been going to NYC regularly to see shows for the past few years, and almost every time I end up going to Bubba Gump's for dinner. The restaurant is in a perfect spot, right in the middle of Times Square, and is easily accessible from most of the Broadway theaters. Expect a wait of around 20-30 minutes if you come at peak times, but there is a lot to look at while you're waiting. Monitors around the restaurant display a never-ending loop of the Forrest Gump movie and there is also a gift shop on the ground floor. The seating area is upstairs, and large windows open up a beautiful view of the streets of Times Square below. The service is fun and friendly, chatty if you want them to be but unobtrusive if you don't like to talk. They bring out food pretty quickly, even during the busiest hours. The food itself is absolutely delicious and not once have I found anything to complain about. Much of the menu is seafood, but there are plenty of other choices for those who don't like the fishy stuff. And the price is actually quite reasonable by NYC standards. Overall, I would reccomend you try this restaurant, however old you are or whatever your food tastes. You will not be disappointed!

    Funny, and good food

We liked Bubba Gump, fine food at a not too high price, for european standards. Strong Euro helps Us, now. We had Shrimper’s Net Catch, Clam Chowder, Shrimp New Orleans, Sweet Chili Shrimp, a Brooklyn Lager for $ 85 tax&tip incl.

    Fun and Relaxing.

From the time you enter the restaurant until you leave you will have a fun and relaxing time. We don't usually go for chain type restaurants but as there isn't one of these restaurants anywhere near where we live, we thought we'd give it a try. The wait was very short. Less than 10 minutes and there is a lot to look at while you wait. The views are nice since the restaurant is upstairs. We started with some of their flavored lemonades (we were here for lunch). The portion sizes were huge. Our main waiter was fun and helpful. The neat thing about this restaurant is at every table there is a Run Forrest Run or Stop Forrest Stop sign that you can flip. So if you need something, you put the stop sign up and ANY waiter will stop and help. It makes service very fast. And the second you flip it over, someone stops. The food was excellent. No one got the same thing so we had eight people that all loved their meals. I think that says something positive about the restaurant. I do think the prices were a little high for some things, but you were right in midtown, in the middle of everything, so I don't think they were that bad. So overall it was a fun, relaxing lunch.
