Had dinner after seeing the wonderful "Forever Dusty" and could not have enjoyed a better "after the show" meal !! We were warmly greeted and seated promptly followed by a cocktail and delicious apps of parsnip soup which was comforting warm on a chilly evening and briny silky blue point oysters that exploded with flavor . Our mains arrived and we "mmmd and ohhhd" our way thru a boneless chicken roasted golden brown with an array of root veg & lucious slab bacon bits and a sliced off the bone rack of lamb with gloroiusly fluffy potatoes and a zucchini pancake worthy of the golden green EVO and yogurt sauce that graced the plate with it. We shared an upside down lemon meruinge "pie" that was not really a pie at all but a symphony of sweet and sour along with the merlot reduction that was drizzled by the shortbread sticks arranged so elegantly . After the perfect cup of coffee we closed the curtain on a perfect NYC day all thanks to "Forever Dusty" and now "Forever Bryant Park Grill" which would be better named "Windows on Bryant Park" .

Convenient midtowon location for small business lunch or large group ( shower or special occassion). Comfortable atmosphere. Can be bit nosey depending on the time of meal . The food and service are great. But it is the view from the large glass windows iacroos the front and above that makes this restaurant special. Whether on snowy or rainy or perfect spring day ,just staring out into/ over Bryant Park with all the trees around you - makes you feel you are no longer in midtown but in your own garden/yard. Comparable to other midtown restauants in price. But it's the ambiance & view that makes this place unique. Been many times and will continue to return.

It was cold a cold day. Somehow I think of Bryant Park Grill as a perfect summer restaurant. But it was just as great on this cold, cold day. We had a nice window seat and it was like being in a warm garden and watching the city move by cold and bundled. I had a hot chocolate, an outstanding bean soup and vegetable ravioli. All was delicious and a perfect winter meal. The service was perfect, attentive, but never intrusive. Professional in a way only a seasoned food server can offer. Of course you are in Bryant Park and the big glass windows give you a view of the people and park as you enjoy great food and great service and oh yes, it's warm and cozy on a cold day.

The brunch menu was very limited (5 items!) and the food itself was just gross. My hollandaise sauce was congealed. Actually, 3 of the 5 people in my party got the Eggs Benedict, since there were so few menu choices, and all our sauces were congealed. The two who got omelets also complained that they were nothing special. Just because you serve stacked eggs, and have an admittedly nice atmosphere, doesn't make them taste good. I've had better food at my corner greasy spoon.

Had been to the park a number of times but never stopped in for a meal.Big mistake. It was a wonderful day.Outside seating was the best. The food and service were all very good. The waiter was also very good.He was there when needed and not when he was not needed.I will certainly return. My wife said this was a great Birthday gift. The park is also very beautiful and well kept.A great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon.

I went here with my mom the other day and I can't stop raving about it. We had the tuna tartare as an appetizer. It was kind fo small for 2 people, but probably a good thing since our entrees were so large. I ordered the duck and I was served the most delicious duck I have ever had. It was served with an apricot corn bread stuffing, poached pear, fresh cranberries and roasted carrots. I could not stop eating because I was just amazed at how delicious the meal was. I recommend this place highly! Oh and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly.
