Great Neighborhood Deli
A clean, nice deli with a variety of gourmet cheese and meats. Their desserts hit the spot too. I like the chocolate peanut butter bar. O yeah. Or sometimes on the way home from work i will pick up the tomato and mozzerela that is premade to go and it's a great snack.

Not What It Used to Be
Just recently, the quality at this Bruno's seems to have fallen off a cliff. The last two times I've had a Turkey Italiano sandwich -- which used to have real roast turkey and farm tomatoes -- I have been displeased to encounter the same pressed turkey and tasteless pink supermarket tomatoes you would find in a sandwich at Subway.

The Best Cold Cuts on the UWS!
The ravioli's great, but try the sandwiches for a real experience! So good, so many choices! Check out the Honey Suprise, Combo #3, Grosso, Chicken Parm, or order 'off the menu' with the Traubula/Combo #11! A Dutchman favorite, Bruno's is usually packed around lunch hour with Collegiate students.

almost no meat or cheese on the sandwich
The sandwiches have very little meat and almost no cheese... almost like a subway sandwich but with a really thick roll, i even asked for extra cheese and they only put one slice on it.

This place is a find
I've only been in the store once, but I've ordered from there a ton. The place is super clean and its a real deal Italian deli. Nice meats and cheeses, smells good, people are clean... The food is excellent - always fresh - and they give you good portions. Great value, 6 or 7 bucks in the city for a sandwich like this is a steal!!

i don't understand these great reviews..
"bruno's ravioli" has subpar ravioli. i can only speak for the cheese and the spinach/cheese, but they are flavorless. the panini sandwiches are ehh (chicken is mushy) and so are the soups that i've tried. the only thing that i can say is pretty decent here is their pizza.

Excelente!
So, I'm generally disappointed by the reviews on menupages. I tend to find more meaningful and useful reviews on Yelp. However, the reviews are spot on. This place rocks! I can honestly say that the guy who says it just gets better and better each time is exactly right. I live close to union square and walk to Bruno's any time I'm feeling like a great meal. I wish they were open a little bit later but I blame my job for making me work insane hours more than I blame Bruno's. The staff is amazing too, so nice and friendly. Their pepperoni pizza is fantastic! Especially if you're like me and think that all these wack ass boutique Posto, Patsy's, Mozarelli's, etc. hippie gourmet pizza bs places need to head back to the west coast where they belong. This is just damn good food. After I moved downtown from Morningside Heights I never thought I'd find anywhere to replace my beloved go to's. Bruno's wins.
