We just spent Valentine's Day at Brucie and had a perfect evening. From the Prosecco start to a couple amazing cocktails (something with rosemary was wonderful, The Brucie?). Service was sweet as we were the last ones there and a bit tipsy on the way out. Food was nothing to scoff at either... A chilled beet soup that my date called "not your mama's borscht" and a scallop crudo that was a revelation. GO HERE for your next romantic evening out!

I loved Brucie, it was a go to for some time. Unfortunately, in the past 2 times I've been the food has clearly fallen off. I wish it was sill as good as when it first opened, but I won't be going back. My husband ordered the meat special; the rib was all fat with no meat and the meatball tasted old. We had a stromboli to start (usually my fav) and it came out cold. We would have liked to complain, but we were hungry and couldn't get any waitstaff attention so just sucked it up since we knew it would be our last time. oh well, it's a shame.

I had a delicious lunch of spaghetti and meatballs. Perfectly cooked pasta, tasty sauce and wonderful meatballs.

My boyfriend and I had lunch here a few days ago and liked it so much we're going back for dinner tonight! I had the heirloom tomato & goat cheese lasagna ... it was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I would have licked my plate if I could. The place is comfortable and charming, and the wait staff is friendly and unpretentious. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

What a great spot. From the moment we walked into the restaurant the service was wonderful. From the host, who greeted us as soon as we walked through the door, to our very lovely waitress, to the busboy who cleared our plates: everyone was very attentive and made us feel welcome. At one point, even the chef came over and asked how everything was. And everything was delicious. My boyfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs, and I had the short ribs. Both were excellent, and left us feeling very happy, but not overstuffed. For dessert we shared a GIANT ice cream sandwich. A really sweet ending to a great meal.

We reallly enjoyed the freshness and quality of the ingredients. When pasta is made in front of you, you know it could not be fresher. The cheeses are wonderful and the energetic staff really looks to please. This sounds funny, but they really look and make you feel that they enjoy what they are doing. It makes you feel like you want to enjoy your meal more and you do. The menu changes every night and the riceballs, puff pastries and salads are terrific. You can't go wrong with any of the homemade pastas.
