Good food with friendly service
I've enjoyed a few meals at Brother Jimmy's near union square now, and I've had nothing but good food and excellent service. Another huge bonus is Wednesday's are southern appreciation day, and any southern transplants like myself get 25% off their meal with proper ID.

Great BBQ!
I ordered the pulled chicken..sooo delicious..the meat, the bun and the pickle lol, I really enjoyed it and in the summer they have a patio so you can sit outside. I cant wait to try more of their bbq, the taste of the BBQ is just like how they do it in the south, where I'm from. Brother Jimmys BBQ taste 10x better than Wildwood BBQ which is a few blocks from it in Union Square

not very tasty
ok so i ordered from jimmy's on a saturday afternoon at work and the food was not the best. the ribs are a bit fatty in addition to this the mac & cheese is not good at all you cant even taste the cheese at all and the yams are not how i would expect them to taste.. save you money!

The Best
I love Brother Jimmy's. I have been to the one on the UWS and UES and have only been disappointed at the UES location. The service was great never had an empty glass of water - as it was always refilled! The food was amazing but giving it a 4.5 bc my mac and cheese was just a little bland. Value is always great! Ambiance wonderful - especially with the tar heel feet on the wall - GO TARHEELS! The only downside was that we were seated by a group that was having a party and every 15 minutes some waitress would blow a whistle which was rather loud - but had I known and had asked if we could've sat somewhere else it wouldn't have been a problem! Southern food and hospitality at its finest!
