Glad I went
I've walked past many times and finally went in for dinner. I don't get the decor. Grungy is how I would describe it. Service was pleasant and efficient. Good was not great. I ordered the combination of ribs and they were cooked well but rather tasteless and unexciting. About 6 St. Louis ribs. I left 2 behind. Glad I went so I know now not to go again.

amazing service and wings
i called brother jimmys for the first time, wondering if they did just plain fried chicken wings; not knowing the answer the hostess went and asked, when taking my delivery order she asked for my name and information. she then repeated back my info as well as my order. then while hanging up she said have a good night elizabeth, she remembered my name!! great costumer service. ordered bbq wings, cornbread and mashed potatoes: with tip 20 bucks. wings were ahhhmazing. cornbread was a bit hard, and the mashed potatoes werent to my liking, but im picking with them. delivery took about 40 minutes, for the wings it was worth it. but for the rest of the meal it wasnt.

Solid and Predictable
The foods not going to win any awards but it's consistent and good for what it is.

No BBQ For Me
One of New York's best. I'm a vegetarian but I always find an abundance of awesome foodies for me to eat. My family loves the BBQ, etc. Keep putting it out there for us New Yorkers. Thanks

Good Recovery on a bad delivery situation
We moved around the corner from Brother Jimmys about two years ago. We have been there about 20 times and ordered delivery maybe 20 times as well. The food is usually good, although the macaroni and cheese side is always hit or miss, the rest of the food is pretty consistent. In addition, its a great place to go after my company's softball team has a game. We love the fishbowls and have fishbowl races after every game we have thats on the UWS. Tonight, we orderd from dinner from Brother Jimmy's and they told us it would be half an hour. About 50 minutes later we called and they told us it was on the way. About an hour and 15 minutes later we called and the girl couldn't find our order in the computer. She gave the phone to the manager who also couldnt find it in the computer. Ten minutes after that the manager called us back, apologized, and told us that the order was on them because they found it on a piece of paper next to the phone and they had never put it in the computer. It was really annoying to wait two hours to get food, however, I appreciated the manager trying to smooth things over by sending it asap and not charging. I will definitely be back again this spring and summer for softball season, and probably will order delivery again.
