I am southern and drawn to the food. I have even worked here for a short stint uptown. I order from the Murray Hill location on occasion and not ONCE has my order ever come correct. I get sour cream for salad dressing? No gravy with my mashed potatoes or no BBQ sauce with my chicken??? I've even received the wrong entree all together. They make little effort to amend the problem and expect your order to be 45 min or longer every single time.

After reading the previous reviews I only feel entitled to defend my favorite sports bar in the upper east side. A. Let me begin the girls working here have more spunk than punky bruster! Attitude galore! Loves it. My girls come in every thursday night, and I cant say we have ever had a bad time. Rarely do my girlfriends and myself included stray from our bunch, but we loveeee the stafff......Not to mention the boyss! From the bouncer, to the boys behind the bar, even the managers.......Eye Candy. Seriously.......Go see for yourself. If your looking for a restaurant then go lexington, if your looking for a party go to jimmys! Love this spot! and the boyyyyssss!

On a whim decided to order in from here. tonight. It took over an HOUR! I live 3 blocks away?! When the food got here it was mediocre at best. Fine place to grab a beer but don't bother with take out. Ridiculous

First off we made a reservation for a birthday. We were seated in a back corner and were not allowed to move tables. Our waitress, Whitney, was terrible. She took 40 minutes to take our order and never came back to check on us. We had to chase her down to get ranch for our salads and for the check! When we told her we needed to hurry with the check bc we had somewhere to be, she seemed to go even slower. Def won't be back bc neither the food nor the service is worth the price.

Bar-B-Que is another one of those tasty things in New York that we're sadly lacking quality places of. Over the last 5 to 7 years, the Barbeque bar has definitely been raised with places like Dinosaur, Hill Country and Rack & Soul. Places like Brother Jimmy's is pretty good, and if you're really in the mood, can be very good. This place is really two-faced. Half the time it's a college drunk fest, and half the time it's a family rib joint. Depending on when you go, you can get the corresponding service (which tends to overlap). I like the ribs here and the sides are OK. Toss back a beer or two and heck, I can't complain. Don't plan on being transported to Memphis though.

Our takeout the mac and cheese was disappointing. Cold and barley any cheese. My wife added a Velvetta slice and put it in the microwave which made it a little better. and the rest of the overall meal was mediocre at best. We're giving this BJs a six month break to see if it improves.
